Witness Webster submitted the following testimony on 09/09/2018 which is unedited and appears as it was submitted:

“As usual I was photographing The classified cabal planes I had been very hard and asking the aliens telepathically if they existed to show themselves as I was photographing one of their menacing green planes this thing decided it wanted to be the main attraction it winked on out of nowhere as the video shows and just as quickly it winked out. I have photographed many strange things this is the only one that I am absolutely sure is alien No Doubt and when I expand it I am sure I see some kind of humanoids in it but I would like other people to verify that but I’m sure that I see them I’m going to send the picture and the video so you can expand picture see if you see humanoids this is one of the only sightings to affect me emotionally.”

The Analysis

As an amateur astronomer, photographer and videographer I have spent many years observing celestial objects in the night sky. I have experience with astrophotography along with coupling DSLR cameras and video cameras to telescopes using eyepiece projection to film celestial objects. I am familiar with camera focus issues in low light, lens flares caused by the sun, moon, and artificial light sources. To recognize out of focus celestial objects, I and have intentionally observed and filmed celestial objects that are out of focus. I am very familiar with aircraft flying both at night and during the day. I am familiar with aircraft landing lights and marker lights. From 2011 to 2015 I investigated claims of geoengineering taking place in our skies including claims of aerosols, aka Chemtrails, being released/sprayed by jet aircraft. As a result of my geoengineering investigations, I have over 100 hours of archived video taken of jet aircraft during the day and at night.

I attempted to contact the witness numerous times since 11/15/2018 as I had a list of questions regarding his statements and the submitted visual evidence. The witness never replied to my questions but based on the visual evidence alone I can identify the objects and video/photo anomalies bringing this investigation to a conclusion.

The witness stated, in essence, he was photographing classified cabal planes and asking the aliens to reveal themselves. He then videoed what he described as their menacing green plane, and the aliens decided to show themselves appearing out of nowhere then immediately vanishing.

Let me explain what the witness is referring to when he states cabal planes, menacing green planes, and his belief they are aliens. Back in 2011 I investigated this subject and am very familiar with these beliefs. There is a small sect of people who firmly believe aliens are piloting flying saucers disguised as jet aircraft and are spray toxic chemicals (aka chemtrails) in the earth’s atmosphere. They believe these so-called chem jets; cabal planes are holograms projected by alien flying saucers to conceal their diabolical plan to terraform the planet to sustain alien life. If one searches YouTube or an internet search, there are thousands of examples of this cult-like belief system. At best, this belief would make a poor “B” rated Hollywood movie.

At approx 9:00 pm the temperature was 86 degrees, dew point 76 degrees, humidity 72%, wind 14 mph out of the SE, precipitation 0.0 inches, visibility 10 miles, and it was partly cloudy.

Searching the archives of Stellarium, (a planetarium software that shows exactly what you see when you look up at the stars), I was able to view exactly what celestial objects were visible to the witness in his night sky from his location in Porter, TX on 08/23/2018 at 9:00 pm. The moon phase was a waxing gibbous illuminated at 93% that would account for the lens flares in one of the witness’ photos.

Analysis of Witness’ Visual Evidence

Refer to photos and video 1-5 under the evidence heading.

#1, jpg photo. Keep in mind the witness never responded to my questions, but the picture and video are self-explanatory rendering my conclusions. In the top left portion of this photo is an overexposed photo of the moon. The shape of the overexposed moon matches the waxing gibbous moon, 93% illuminated on the night of 08/23/2018 at 9:00 pm. In the lower right portion of the photo are two lens flares. Based on my experience these are lens flares are common when photographing an illuminated moon.

#2, three-second mp4 video clip. This video clip shows nothing but lens flares from an external light source, most likely a red laser pointer or flashlight with a red lens. It is obvious that the video recording device was mounted on a tripod or sitting on a stationary object. It is also obvious that someone was manipulating a laser or flashlight in an up and down motion directed in the vicinity of the camera lens to cause the lens flares captured by the camera. It’s also important to note while taking video at night, the shutter speed of the cameras will be slowed down using automatic settings. This slow shutter speed is the reason we see the squiggly red lens flare dancing around in this video footage. In my professional opinion, this was done intentionally to bring about deception.

#3, three-second mp4 video clip. As an amateur astronomer, I can state exactly what is depicted in this video clip. I can not state the name of the star, but it is, in fact, a star. It is obvious to me that the witness pointed his camera on a bright star the rotated the camera in a clockwise circular motion that gave the star the false illusion that it was moving. Also, due to the motion of the camera, the star went in and out of focus. Again, in my professional opinion, this was done intentionally to bring about deception.

#4, jpg photo. Photo of a jet aircraft with it’s landing lights turned on. The witness stated he was photographing aircraft or what he termed as a cabal plane.

#5, Three-second mp4 video. Distorted video footage of a jet aircraft with it’s landing lights turned on. The witness moving/giggling the camera, along with the slow shutter speed of the camera at night, distorted the image of the jet and it’s landing lights.

Video Analysis

Conclusion

Based on my years of experience filming the sky as an amateur astronomer, photographer/ videographer, along with my knowledge of cameras, I can recognize deceptive manipulation in visual evidence submitted by a witness. There was no need for this witness to answer my questions. Answering questions would only be additional evidence of a hoax. I believe the witness intentionally submitted this hoax for reasons known only by him. I don’t even believe the witness believes his implications that these jet aircraft are alien flying saucers in disguise. While I find these fake UFO reports frustrating, I am glad the witness submitted this hoax to TBV Investigations. There is a valuable benefit to these fake UFO reports. Investigations like this can be a benefit to other investigators and valuable archival reference data for future investigations.

My conclusion: Camera manipulation using an artificial light source (flashlight or laser pointer) at night with a slow camera shutter speed to create squiggly lens flares in video footage. Overexposed moon photo with lens flares. Intentional camera manipulation rendering an out of focus star to fake a UFO. And to top it off, an IMPLIED TALL-TALE of alien flying saucers disguising themselves as jet aircraft spraying toxic chemicals in our atmosphere to terraform the planet and take over the earth. Now that’s what I call a WHOPPER…

The following case file report was written by TBV Investigations’ researcher Jim Kerr.

On October 28^th, 2018, at approx 4:23 am, Esteban Zavala posted a live video to Instagram showing what he stated to be 5 UFO’s hovering over the city of Rosarito, Baja California. It was a foggy early morning in Rosarita with multiple illuminated objects that appeared to be hovering approx 100 ft above the ground. Later that day Zavala posted the same Instagram video titled, “UFO’s Hovering in Rosarito 2018”, to his YouTube channel named Esteban Zavala, (refer to the link below under credits). Within hours, Zavala’s video footage went viral worldwide across the internet, re-posted on UFO YouTube channels, UFO Blogs, Facebook, Twitter and more.

On November 6, 2018, John Greenewald, creator of “The Black Vault,” shared with his team of UFO Investigators an article titled, “One of the best UFO sightings filmed lately” which included Zavala’s video footage. We all viewed the video and came to the unanimous conclusion that what Zavala videoed were in fact street lights.

Even though the objects in Zavala’s video had already been solved and determined as street lights, we at TBV Investigations are publishing this information not only to educate the public but for necessary archival reference material.  Our report is important documentation regarding how easy one can mistake street lights in foggy weather conditions for Flying Saucers, especially newly designed and installed circular LED street lights.

The Evidence

Witness Zavala’s written statement from his YouTube Channel.

“Today October 28, 2018, I witness 5 UFOs hovering over Rosarito, Baja California MX. At around 4:23 am I was driving back to San Diego, California with my grandmother. We were having a normal conversation when she suddenly went mute and all she could do was point at the sky. I look up and see 5 of these things hovering over homes and the beach. I pulled over and immediately went live on Instagram to avoid speculations of video editing and such. Share your thoughts.”

Investigative journalist, Ales Backman, is credited for determining these alleged Flying Saucers were new circular LED street lights recently installed for illuminating a recently constructed highway interchange along highway 1D.

Backman drove to Rosarito and videoed the location of the lights.

Below you will find screenshots from Backman’s video showing the circular LED street lights. Note the lens flare of the light fixture in the first photo.

Conclusion

After watching Zavala’s complete unedited video on his YouTube Channel, I truly believe he and his mother believed they witnessed multiple UFO’s over the town of Rosarito, Baja California. It is important to note that they were not traveling on the main highway 1D but a side road in foggy weather conditions. Had they been driving along highway 1D, I believe they would have seen that the lights were in fact highway lights.

I find it very sad that so many so-called UFO researchers and individuals on social media capitalized and exploited this video footage claiming the objects were real Flying Saucers. The aforementioned is a real problem in Ufology today and casts s a bad light on legitimate researchers. It is our goal at TBV Investigations to inform and educate the public and to reduce the exploitation of misidentified UFO sightings.

This photograph appears on the Facebook / Edge of Wonder Page, as posted on February 14, 2018. Although there may be an earlier post “source” — this post alone has nearly 15,000 shares and more than 1,500 likes at the time of this writing, it constitutes as “viral” and deserves a mention here.

Reason being, the photograph is a fairly provable fake. But, don’t let that stop the masses from “sharing” it with the world. Why? Well, it has to be real despite evidence to the contrary.  Why? Well, the post says it’s real. So, if you read it on the internet, it HAS to be true!

The Analysis

Doing a slight crop on the image, then conducting a reverse image search, multiple matches to an identical “apparition” are discovered.

First discovered, believed to be the source, is a graphite sketch appearing on moziru, and on a large list of artistic work using “Graphite” as the medium.

Second, is information about a music album in Spanish, entitled “Accidents – El Fantasma en mi” which has the following cover art:

Although there are slight variations between the two examples found on Google, the image in question above, of an apparition in Russia, is clearly an exact copy of the first example. Here is an overlay showing the image in question, vs. the first graphite drawing.

Both layers are on top of each other, which different color balances to differentiate between the two.

The hoaxer did skew the original artwork (they changed the aspect ratio) but it took only seconds to do the same thing in Photoshop, and see that the finger placement, body, etc. are a perfect/identical match.

Conclusion

With the evidence given above, this case is comfortably labeled a hoax.

On social media, this particular photograph has been passed around in various Facebook groups and websites.

It depicts NASA engineers at Dryden, posing with an unidentified craft in the shape of a flying saucer.

The Photograph

The Analysis

The investigation on this, is very simple, and was easy to conduct.

The hoaxer who created the image, did not even bother to change the photograph identification number. On the photograph in question, you will note it says: E49-059 as a Photo Identification number.

A quick search of the NASA Dryden Photo archives, reveals to real photograph with this ID number, and the buildings, engineers, etc. are identical. 

The hoaxer simply did some fancy Photoshop work – and inserted in a flying saucer to the original photograph, after deleting the actual aircraft.

Conclusion

With the above evidence, this is clearly, a hoax.

On January 16, 2018, the following post went “viral” on the Facebook wall of Kurt Norris, who appears to be one of the originators and the root of this story.

Although I do not “blame” him for the misinformation regarding this case, the internet as a whole did that part all on it’s own by forwarding, sharing and reposting the photos, most with allegations that aliens were attacking or that the government was using a particle beam weapons.  Many posts claimed that Facebook was deleting the evidence, and urged others to forward/share/like etc. which fueled the popularity.

Here are some examples of the photos that surfaced with multiple misleading headlines:

The story deepened, because on the same night, a meteor was also seen in the same area.  The internet as a whole, began connecting the photos you see above, with the following video that surfaced (among others):

The Analysis

Internet lore deepened the mystery, but when dissecting the events, one can determine that the above evidence, is unrelated.  The meteor falling had nothing to do with the original photographs with the “beam” along with the third photo in the array above, which appears to be onlookers looking at a fire in the distance (but lacks a “beam”).

It was determined that this third photo (lacking the “beam”), along with others that surfaced online, were taken near a garage fire in Taylor, Michigan.  According to MLIVE, which reported on the fire:

TAYLOR, MI – A fire that destroyed a pickup truck inside a garage in the metro Detroit community of Taylor was not started by a piece of falling meteor fragment Tuesday night.

Fire crews were called to a garage fire at about 8:24 p.m., Jan. 16, on Merrick Road after the homeowner noticed smoke coming from the engine compartment of a pickup he was working on inside the garage, according to the Taylor Fire Department.

The fire started at about the same time a meteor reportedly entered the atmosphere and several onlookers near the scene assumed the garage was hit, officials said.

The original Facebook poster, which arguably started the online craze after garnering more than 37,000 shares (at the time of writing this), even said the photos were taken of the garage fire. He updated his post with the following, well after the story went viral:

*Two of the photos are from the garage fires in Taylor, MI… the shake and meteor was near Detroit area. The shake and sound was the sonic boom from the speed and going through the atmosphere and causing a 2.0 earthquake. The last picture I just saw circulating from people posting in Taylor, MI area but no one claimed to have taken the photo so it could be a fake.*

The photographs with the “beam” have also been determined to be photographs of a controlled burn from the Canton Marathon Oil refinery in Canton, Ohio. Fox 8 in Cleveland reported on this story:

CANTON, Ohio – Drivers and local residents saw a huge fire at the Marathon Oil refinery in Canton Tuesday evening.

But it was all planned, according to the company.

A Marathon representative told Fox 8 that the fire is called a “controlled flaring” and is used as a “safety valve.”  He adds that “operational circumstances often require it.”

The burn still made for quite a blaze that could be seen for miles and miles.

A light pillar is an atmospheric optical phenomenon in the form of a vertical band of light which appears to extend above and/or below a light source. The effect is created by the reflection of light from numerous tiny ice crystals suspended in the atmosphere or clouds. The light can come from the Sun (usually when it is near or even below the horizon) in which case the phenomenon is called a sun pillar or solar pillar. It can also come from the Moon or from terrestrial sources such as streetlights.

As the photographs seem to be easily explained, that leaves simply the meteor story.

Since none of the “beam” photographs resemble anything related to the meteor, and have other easily verified stories attached to them to offer a viable explanation, it is safe to say that the incidents are not related, and the video of the meteor, is explained simply, as a video of a meteor.

Conclusion

With the evidence above, I believe we can label the case a “hoax” perpetrated by social networks and click bait sites that help fuel the story, and the dissemination of it to the masses.

In short – don’t fall for the online hype.

Thomas Costello was allegedly a security officer that worked at the infamous “Dulce Base” in northern New Mexico. The Dulce Base is allegedly a secret alien underground facility under Archuleta Mesa on the Colorado-New Mexico border near the town of Dulce, New Mexico.

Multiple online sources and viral posts, have circulated this photograph as having been leaked by Costello, then shortly after it was leaking, he and his family went missing.  There is no evidence that I have found, that shows that Thomas Costello even exists. Further damning evidence is that this photo which has circulated hundreds of thousands of times online, is, in fact, a verifiable hoax.

The problem when investigating this, is the fact that this is identical to scenes from the moving The 6th Day, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.  Here is some background to the movie, courtesy of Wikipedia:

The 6th Day is a 2000 American science fiction action film directed by Roger Spottiswoode and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as Adam Gibson, a family man of the future who has been illegally cloned as part of a vast conspiracy involving a shady billionaire businessman. Schwarzenegger received a salary of $25 million for his role in the film.  

The film opened at #4 in North America and made $13 million in its opening weekend. It became a box office disappointment and received mixed reviews from critics. The supporting cast features Robert Duvall as the scientific genius who developed the cloning, Michael Rapaport as the requisite best friend, Sarah Wynter as an assassin, and Wendy Crewson as Gibson’s wife. The film was also Terry Crews’ film debut, portraying a police thug.

To verify, I found a copy of the blu-ray version, and made the following screen shots:

You can see that the position of the bodies, inside the chamber, are a match.

This can easily be labeled, a hoax.

This photograph began circulating the internet, and allegedly was “leaked” by Edward Snowden. The text associated with the image, disseminated online by Keith Thomson Books, read as follows:

It took all of about 2 minutes to show that this is not connected to Edward Snowden and it is not an aircraft.

Artist Alex J. Brady has released many different concept art sketches. Living in England, Mr. Brady has worked on different projects as a freelancer, creating images such as these.

It appears someone took his artwork, and began disseminating it, alleging it was an top secret aircraft, buit by alien technology, and leaked by Edward Snowden.

This one can easily be put to rest as a provable hoax, but for the record, NOT of the doing by the artist. On a personal note, he does some amazing work! Please don’t associate him with this hoax, however, as it appears it was someone else entirely who perpetrated it.

Well, it’s a photograph that’s too good to be true.

You’ve probably seen it. At the time of writing this case file, on August 13, 2015, the photograph had more than 690,000 SHARES on Facebook alone.  The tagline? It reads, “This photo was taken in Australia, get it out there as Facebook are trying to remove it.”

With a tagline like that, who wouldn’t LIKE it and SHARE it to their friends? I mean, Facebook was covering this up and it was on the internet, so, it HAD to be true, right?

Once it was shared to me like 2 or 3 thousand times, I decided to take a moment to investigate.

Here were my initial thoughts:

Clearly, the photographer was above ground, since the trees were below him. We can deduce he’s probably in a building (rather than sitting in an open sky crane in a lightning storm), so therefore, probably shooting through the pane of a glass window.  With the “UFO” having 4, equal cut, “slices” in it, it screamed (to me anyway) this was a chandelier or light on the ceiling of a room.

I have seen thousands of UFO photographs over the years, and many of them are usually photos taken through glass, and a mysterious object shows up in the frame. Yet, it’s the taking of the photo through glass that really is the issue. I felt that could explain this photo quite easily.

Looking out the window, many times, lit objects BEHIND your point of view can be seen as a reflection.  Most of us have that little thing called common sense to figure out, “Hey, that’s a reflection of a lamp.”  But, send out a low resolution photo of that reflection onto the internet, add a spooky tagline caption, and voila — you have a viral UFO photograph.

So, I wanted to prove or disprove my theory so I set out to Google’s handy dandy search engine to take a look at what I could find.  Well, someone beat me to solving this thing. And, it confirms what I thought.

With credit to the SKEPT!CAL blog, they made the discovery of a near identical looking lighting feature that actually can be yours for a little over $1,300!

Is this an exact match? It looks pretty darn close. Same spacing on the bottom, same or similar design on the side, and, of course, coloring looks just like a southwest/cowboy color to give that rustic feel.

They even take it one step farther, and find what is probably the exact location the original “UFO” photograph was taken.

The above photograph was taken at the Signal Mountain Lodge in Wyoming.  Quite a distance from the alleged location being Australia in the original post.  Here is a photograph from inside one of the lodges:

I guess that old saying, “If it looks to good to be true… it usually is” may apply to this one.

Social networks have been blowing up with the news story of a “fallen angel” over the skies of London.  Pictures also come along with the story, and are fairly disturbing to look at.

More and more headlines are circulating that this is a “legitimate” story.  A very quick search, proves this is simply a hoax, and should not be forwarded around.  The photos are of an art exhibit.  Recently, the Daily Mail wrote about the artist in this July 24, 2015, story:

unveiled shockingly realistic fallen angel installation

• Artists Sun Yuan and Peng Yu are famous for their controversial artwork
• They use unusual materials for art including baby cadavers and human fat
• ‘Angel’ depicting old woman with wings and has shocked many art lovers
• Their work has previously featured at the Saatchi Gallery in London

Art lovers were shocked by a ‘fallen angel’ installation that was unveiled in Beijing this week.

The extremely realistic work was created by Chinese artists, Sun Yuan and Peng Yu.

The pair are known for blurring the lines between art and reality by using materials such as human body fat in their work.

Their latest piece, entitled ‘Angel’, has just been installed in China’s capital, reported People’s Daily Online.

BREAKING NEWS: Real Life Fallen Angel Has Fallen From The Sky In London

A human like “Angel” has fallen out of the skies over London. The extremely human like creature with what seems to be “angel” wings as arms appears to have fallen from the sky at around 1:50pm this afternoon.

The ‘Angel’ like creature was quickly rushed away by what seemed to be undercover police officers dressed in suits and sunglasses, resembling the characters in the hit movie Men in Black.

It comes just hours before NASA announced finding ‘Earth 2.0′ the most habitable planet ever discovered.

All a little freaky if you ask me.

Hoax or Easily Explainable / Misidentified

For months, the world has waited for the release of alleged “Roswell Alien” slides that were teased in 2014.  Of course highly controversial, these slides were believed to have been the “Smoking Gun” – with irrefutable proof aliens exist and have visited Earth.

After months of waiting, researchers attached to this story (which include Donald Schmitt, Tom Carey, Richard Dolan, and Jaime Maussan) decided that May 5, 2015, or Cinco de Mayo, was the right day to reveal to the world what was on these slides.

Well, that is, if you wanted to fork over some money to watch the reveal.

Curious onlookers paid $20 to login to view the presentation, which quickly became a joke to many who paid.

Social media roared with the fact that many paid money, and saw a screen with an error, as the stream was not working. Others who did get in, waited for the moment they finally revealed the slide. But, as many put it, it was “underwhelming” at best.

Those who have promoted this slide for months, say experts from Kodak confirmed it truly was from decades ago, and was unaltered. But does that prove anything? At first glance, I, along with quite a few others, get the “museum” vibe from this. Not “alien.”

To further prove this point, I did some analysis on the highest resolution slide I could find.

First, I highlighted what appears to be a gorilla or ape head, in the same case as the “alien.”  Would this make any sense whatsoever? It would in a museum — not if this was an alien.

In addition, it should be said that the original film should have much more detail than what was released to the public. If they were to release the higher resolution photo, my guess is you would see additional details, and possibly even the words, on the piece of paper resting near the “alien.” This would, in my opinion, be the details of what was in the museum case.

Some claim this “card” is not a card, but rather, a reflection of an overhead light.  Clicking on the two photos above, you can see the distinction between what are obviously reflections, and the “card”. With the analysis, you can also see, what appears to be, details that resemble text on the “card” while the more obvious reflection stay solid white in the center.

Further, the following image clearly shows (and it can be seen with NO adjustments on the photo whatsoever) that the ape-like head in the same case, also has a similar card.

Another detail overshadowed by the “alien” focal point of the slide, is the other person, on the other side of the glass. They appear to be standing there, just like another observer at a museum, looking at the other items in the case. I will let a fashion expert figure out the time frame of their clothing, but it does not have feeling of a secret installation housing an alien body.

And lastly, looking at the cabinet that houses the “alien” reveals there are other objects, just like a museum.

It is the opinion of The Black Vault that evidence of alien life, should it actually exist, should be released to the world, for free, without hesitation.  To build up hype, sell tickets for months, then release a single, grainy, photo claiming evidence of extraterrestrials, is evidence enough for me this was nothing more than a scam.  That, and if you want to know more, there is a “movie” coming out which we all will undoubtedly have to pay even more to see.

When I woke up the morning of May 6, 2015, I expected to at least see 10, maybe 20, maybe even 50 headlines about this.  What did I see? At 8am in the morning, well after the first news cycle… there were about 3. And those articles ripped apart this story, and profiled it as the joke it was.

Here is a sampling from The Mirror profiling the greed for money:

Two photographs of a “dead alien” were unveiled at a big money event last night – and immediately dismissed as fake.

A series of ‘UFOlogists’ appeared at the Be Witness meeting last night to reveal images of an extraterrestrial who supposedly crashed to Earth during the infamous Roswell incident in 1947.

The images were found by former journalist Adam Dew, who reportedly turned down interviews with magazines that wanted to cover the story because “they were not offering any compensation”.

He claimed to have taken steps to verify the pair of alien snaps and said Kodak experts had dated the film to 1947.

But the rest of the world has not had the chance to test the rigour of his methods, because high resolution images of the alien are not yet available.

They are likely to be sold through his production company Dew Media alongside a documentary about the discovery of the slides.

The photos were supposedly found in Arizona, hidden in a collection of snaps owned by oil geologist Bernard Ray and his wife Hilda Ray, who have both died.

Nick Pope, a researcher who headed up a UFO investigation wing at the UK Ministry of Defence, told Mirror Online he was “underwhelmed”.

“It could be a model, or it could simply be a fake image, dressed up to look like a Forties slide,” he said.

Others took to social networks, and quickly were able to find nearly identical looking ‘bodies’ right here from human civilizations. This, even further, supports the theory this is nothing more than a museum artifact.

Unfortunately, what SHOULD have been one of UFOlogy’s biggest days, turned out to be a large joke to the media.

This event, in my opinion, has done more damage to UFOlogy than anything else, and those behind it should be questioned on what their true motives really are. To decline interviews because they aren’t paying, speaks volumes.

Such a shame.

UPDATE: John Greenewald’s Statement – 5/8/2015

Earth’s, scratch that, HUMANity’s history is full of relics and artifacts that look nearly identical to the “alien” revealed to us on Cinco de Mayo.

The bottom line is, it does not matter if those that are skeptical on this, find a photo or video or a resting place of the EXACT mummy, or child, or whatever is depicted in this photo. The burden of proof does NOT fall on us that have questions on what is being dangled in front of us.   There is OVERWHELMINGLY enough evidence to PROVE that there are nearly identical looking bodies here on Earth, and have been for a long time. So, I think the ball is in the court of those behind this to give something, anything, of value that proves otherwise. If not, it’s time to move on.

Is it the same? Probably not, but it’s darn near identical.

• The decomposition of the body, the state of the skin, color, etc., is nearly identical to this Egyptian mummy.
• The wrapping underneath, looks nearly identical, with the same color, and a similar looking material to this Egyptian mummy.
• The FOLDING of the wrapping underneath, is nearly identical to that of what you would see in a museum, like this Egyptian mummy, unwrapped and on display.

And so on…

The burden of proof is seemingly on those, skeptical, of this case.  Unfortunately, it just doesn’t work like that. The burden of proof does not lie on those skeptical, but rather, on those making the claim.  The only one who has spoken to us (that I’ve seen at this point) about it, was Mr. Richard Dolan.  And his underlying statement, was he isn’t convinced it’s alien, just that it warranted additional investigation. If he was there, and he sat through the 5+ hours of ‘testimony’ and ‘evidence’, and he met with the ‘scientists’ that spoke, and he saw, first hand, the photos, etc., and he isn’t convinced? Then simply put: the evidence isn’t there.

That means – those promoting this and “selling tickets to the sideshow” at this point, have a lot more work cut out for them.

The silence, is deafening.  Although part of me wants to be frustrated at being ignored with my questions now for months (I posted questions well before the reveal), why should any of us give it the time of day at this point?   I believe my questions, and comments, and observations (which are shared by many), deserve an answer and should be addressed. If not directed at me, direct them at someone so answers can be given.  If you make us wait for the DVD, or book, or whatever to reveal another nugget – my guess a mass boycott is coming, and sales will be virtually nothing.

Although the fate of this field does not rely on their evidence, and it will continue on for years to come, the silence, lack of evidence to this grandiose claim, and unwillingness to address concerns make it a heck of a lot harder for us trying to make a real difference in this field.

UPDATE: 5/11/2015 – Does this put the entire case to rest as a case of mis-identity?

Recently, my friend and colleague Paul Kimball released two videos on how the placard can be deciphered. Paul is part of a new team, that started a website called www.roswellslides.com and took the information presented here one step farther, and have claimed to have been able to decipher the placard that I proposed above could hold the true identify to what this being truly is.

UPDATE: Tom Carey’s Statement On Behalf of the Group, 5/12/2015

As promised, I put out the notice to all of those involved with the Roswell Slide reveal that I would post, unedited and in full, their response to the critics.  Although I have been ignored, this was forwarded to a list I am on for dissemination.  I take Tom Carey’s request that this dissemination applied to me as well, and is put here. This is not been touched or edited in any way:

We believe that the recently released “reading” of the placard by the so-called “Roswell Slides Research Group” was faked. Some of the names in this group, in itself, should give pause and raise red warning flags do damage to anyone actually searching for truth. Ever since Don Schmitt and I became aware of the slides three years ago, our modus operandi has been four-fold: (1) to authenticate the age and integrity of the slides; (2) to obtain professional anthropological and forensic opinion as to what the body on the slides represented; (3) to find out as much as we could about Bernerd and Hilda Blair Ray, the long-deceased owners of the slides; and (4) to “read” the placard located at the foot of the body on the slides. 

We physically took the slides to Kodak’s historian, who is an expert regarding Kodachrome., and, using several parameters of interrogation, he determined that the slides dated from the 1947-49 time period (manufacture to exposure). For the most part, the American anthropologists we contacted did not want to even look at the slides when they learned that they might be “UFO-related.” Those who did, however, did so “off the record.” They all concluded that the body on the slides was not that of a mummy but possibly that of a congenitally deformed child. Fortunately, we were able to secure Canadian and Mexican anthropologists and forensic anatomical experts who went “on the record” at our May 5th “beWitness” event in Mexico City. In short, their detailed presentations concluded that the body on the slides was: not a mammal, not a primate and not human. One, Richard Doble, after a detailed morphological examination, concluded that the creature on the slides did not evolve on earth. You already have Doble’s report, and the report of the two Mexican authorities is still in translation.

The Rays had no children or close relatives we could interview who could shed some light on their activities. Bernerd was an oil geologist whose whose zone of activity was the Permian Basin of west Texas and eastern New Mexico. He was also the President of a geological society in west Texas. Hilda was an oil attorney in Midland, Texas and an amateur pilot who, according a friend in the nursing home where Hilda passed away in 1988, was also friends with Mamie Eisenhower (General and later President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s wife). There are a number of color slides in the collection that do appear to show Mamie Eisenhower in various situations. Prior to her death, Hilda Ray bequeathed almost $1M to the American Association of University Women.

Regarding the placard, we quickly determined that (1) its content would be key to interpreting the slides; and (2) we could not read it. So, we sent copies to Dr. David Rudiak and Dr. Donald Burleson. Both had done exemplary work in trying to decipher the so-called “Ramey Memo” – a situation very similar to placard issue here. Both responded to us that the placard was “unreadable.” Through a contact, we had the Photo Interpretation Unit at the Pentagon in Washington, DC take a look at it. They said that it was “unreadable.” A copy went to a company in New York now requesting anonymity that conducted the analysis on a major historical artifact. That company’s response to us was that the placard was “unreadable.” Another copy went to the people at Adobe, Inc. (manufacturers of Adobe Photoshop and the Adobe Reader on your computer). Their response?  “It’s unreadable.” A copy also was also sent to aggressive Roswell researcher Anthony Bragalia who also reported to me that it was “unreadable.” (Bragalia has now aggressively joined in with our critics). Our own computer guy says that he applied the “SmartDeblur” software to the placard over a year ago without any success. He did so again this week to an enhanced, sharper version of the placard with the latest edition of the “SmartDeBlur” program, again without success.

Now, we are told (not asked) to believe that a cast of characters, one of whom has clearly become unhinged and was himself party to a known UFO body hoax some years ago, has used the same program (SmartDeBlur) on a distorted,”screen-grab” of the placard and is somehow able to “read” it when all of the above, some of whom had much more sophisticated equipment and techniques at their disposal, could not. I ask you, what’s wrong with this picture?

Finally, lost in all of the vile invective being hurled our way by the members of the RSRG and their fellow travelers, is what the analysis of the physical body on the slides is saying. The RSRG has used a note from an obscure late 1800’s journal to weave their tale that the slides show the “mummified body of a two year old boy” (the word “mummy” or “mummified” appears nowhere in their alleged de-blurred “reading” of the placard). In their excitement to play “Gotcha!,” it apparently has not crossed their thought processes (I’m being charitable here) that a mummy of a two year old boy several thousand years old would be less than half the size of the body shown on the slides!

So, what are we to make of all this? Jaime Maussan relied upon Tom Carey and Don Schmitt, who relied on all of the above to reach the conclusions that were reached. We have, at this point in the proceedings, have sent out additional copies of the placard image to third parties whose opinions we can trust to run the SmartDeBlur application on it and are prepared to abide by their findings, wherever the chips fall.

UPDATE: Mesa Verde Museum the Location of “Alien Slide”? – 5/13/2015

This may be one of the final updates to this case file, simply because the information is overwhelming that this is either a) a hoax or b) a case of mistaken identity. But, the question is, why in the “years” of research was no one able to achieve what those on the internet did in just days?

It appears that there is strong evidence to support the alien body came from the Mesa Verde Museum in Arizona. According to a 1939 National Park Service publication:

A splendid mummy was received by the Park Museum recently when Mr. S.L. Palmer Jr. of San Francisco returned one that his father had taken from the ruins in 1894. The mummy is that of a two year old boy and is in an excellent state of preservation. At the time of burial the body was clad in a slip-over cotton shirt and three small cotton blankets. Fragments of these are still on the mummy. (Source)

This coincides with the de-bluring of the slide, and references a “two year old boy” and it came from “San Francisco”.  In addition, reference this:

UPDATE: Don Schmitt’s Statement, 5/14/2015

This statement was released by Don Schmitt, and has not been touched or edited in any way:

It would seem like I’ve been here before… Asking my friends and colleagues to accept my sincerest apology for my participation in the recent event in Mexico City. I accept full responsibility for the fact that I allowed myself to be drawn into this situation, albeit with the best of intentions, I sacrificed my better judgement by being overly trusting when I should have known better. As one strives to make up for the mistakes of the past, there are times that emotions cause one to outrun their headlights. In my case, I ran it right off the road. Through the years I have worked hard to earn back your respect and confidence in my work only to presently jeopardize it all. For that I am especially remorseful. I am afraid that after spending almost half of my life devoted to one specific investigation, I allowed the allure of final resolution cloud my skeptical nature to be replaced by a false vision of hope. I now realize that the image in the slides is a mummy as specified by the display placard. At this time I consider the matter concluded and intend on moving forward. My only desire is that you try to understand that I never willfully did anything to mislead or misrepresent what I thought was the truth and I only acted with the best of objectives. Still, if I have offended or hurt anyone through my participation in this event, you have my deepest apology and have every right to hold it against me. When the truth finally was made known to all of us, I realized that I could only blame myself for not only failing you, but more sadly, failing myself. I must do better. And with God’s help and your understanding, I promise I will.

On November 19, 1995, Wem Town Hall in Shropshire, England burned to the ground. Many spectators gathered to watch the old building, built in 1905, as it was being consumed by the flames. Tony O’Rahilly, a local resident, was one of those onlookers and took photos of the spectacle with a 200mm telephoto lens from across the street. One of those photos shows what looks like a small, partially transparent girl standing in the doorway.

Nether O’Rahilly nor any of the other onlookers or firefighters recalled seeing the girl there.

O’Rahilly submitted the photo to the Association for the Scientific Study of Anomalous Phenomena which, in turn, presented it for analysis to Dr. Vernon Harrison, a photographic expert and former president of the Royal Photographic Society. Harrison carefully examined both the print and the original negative, and concluded that it was genuine. “The negative is a straightforward piece of black-and-white work and shows no sign of having been tampered with,” Harrison said.But who is the little girl?

Wem, a quiet market town in northern Shropshire, had been ravaged by fire in the past. In 1677, historical records note, a fire destroyed many of the town’s old timber houses. A young girl named Jane Churm, the legends say, accidentally set fire to a thatched roof with a candle. Many believed her ghost haunted the area and had been seen on a few other occasions.

The mystery could be solved. On October 11, 2013, the Shropshire Star published the following article, disputing the authenticity of the photo:

Does postcard solve ghost riddle?

One of Shropshire’s most sensational mysteries – the spooky riddle of “The Wem ghost” – may at last have been solved by eagle-eyed Shropshire Star reader Brian Lear.

Brian spotted an eerie similarity between a girl standing in the street in a 1922 photo of Wem and the young girl whose fuzzy image was famously captured amid the flames as Wem Town Hall burned down in 1995.

That photograph taken by local amateur photographer Tony O’Rahilly created international headlines and sparked the legend of “The Wem Ghost”.

There was speculation that the girl was 14-year-old Jane Churm, who accidentally started the disastrous great fire of Wem in 1677 and was reputed to be haunting the town hall.

Wem folk enthusiastically embraced the story which put their town under the spotlight. A sign on the outskirts had a makeshift alteration to read “Ghost Town”, experts in paranormal activity visited, and there was even a scroll and a plaque to mark where the ghost was spotted.

But when Brian, from Shrewsbury, looked at a photo of Wem — a postcard franked in 1922 — in our Pictures From The Past slot the other day, his eye was drawn to a little girl standing in a doorway.

“I was intrigued to find that she bore a striking likeness to the little girl featured as the ‘Wem ghost’,” he said.

“Her dress and headgear appear to be identical.”

So we have blown up detail from that picture to compare with the “Wem ghost”. And, by jove, he’s right!

Look at the pictures and make your own minds up.

Photographer Tony O’Rahilly, who died in 2005, said at the time that he had discovered the ghost image when developing his snaps of the town hall fire.

Some time later the photo was examined by experts from the National Museum of Photography, who concluded it was a fake. But others were certain it was genuine.

Recent NM ‘skinwalker’ photo ignites fear

CUBA, N.M. (KRQE) – Is a strange alien-looking creature prowling in northern New Mexico?

A Facebook picture circulating Thursday has a lot of people up there worried. The post was shared thousands of times within a few hours and had a lot of people uttering the word skinwalker, a well-known legend in Indian country.

The picture shows an unexplained being lurking on the side of a road.

The person who posted it claimed it was taken near Lybrook and Counselor, which is near the Jicarilla reservation.

The story claims that a geologist was working in an oil field in the area and saw something odd and decided to take a heat signature of it. The next day, the geologist suddenly quit.

The story spread like wildfire with people on social media saying, “seriously freaking out,” “yikes … I’m driving through there tomorrow,” and “skinwalker!”

Skinwalker refers to a Native American legend which was brought to life by author Tony Hillerman.

According to the legend, a skinwalker is a person with the supernatural ability to turn into any animal and walks on all fours.

There are stories of countless encounters, but few will speak of them, too scared they will be targeted again.

Many people who posted and shared the picture Thursday said they found their posts and comments disappear. People who emailed it to others said they were unable to retrieve it.

But everyone can rest easy. It didn’t take long for the picture and story to be debunked.

It apparently comes from a 1980s science fiction move “Xtro,” where a creepy being is born, then goes on the prowl and is spotted by a couple driving along the road.

It’s unclear how the story was connected to Lybrook or Counselor, or that so-called geologist. Perhaps it was just someone having a little fun, but it shows the power of social media and legends.

The New Mexican who posted the image Thursday has since taken it down, saying she shared it because others had. She says she has no information about its origin.

Extraterrestrial Mummy Found In Egypt

September 28, 2012 – The body of a perfectly preserved, carefully mummified an alien was found buried in an ancient pyramid. A mysterious creature from between 150 and 160 centimeters was found by an archaeologist near Lahun when exploring a small pyramid near the Dynasty doceaba of Senusret II. However, this fact was not revealed immediately.

“The mummy of what appears to be an alien, dates back more than 2000 years and it seems it would be a humanoid” said a source at the Egyptian Antiquities Department, who provided details and photographs of the find but did so under condition anonymity. “

These remains like an alien strangers have created much controversy in the world.

Some online sources said that this is a species-being for its fur and reptilian traits that characterize them, such as their eyes, too large and oval shaped. Inscriptions on the tomb of the mummy showed that the king was a counselor named Osirunet, meaning star or sent from heaven. ” The mummified body was buried with great respect and care, accompanied by a number of strange objects far from the archaeological museum managers can not identify.

The hoax

A few days before April 1, 2007, Dan Baines, a 31-year-old illusion designer for magicians from London, posted on his website images of the “corpse” of an unknown eight-inch creation.[3] The unusual corpse was claimed to be the mummified remains of a fairy which was discovered by a dog walker at Firestone Hill in Duffield, Derbyshire. The remains, as shown in the pictures, were complete with ears, wings, hair, skin, and teeth, and were claimed to ‘have been examined by anthropologists and forensic experts who can confirm the body is genuine’. According to the website, X-rays of the ‘fairy’ showed that its body’s structure was the same as that of a child. The bones, however, were described to be ‘hollow like those of a bird, making them particularly light.

In spite of the coming of April Fool’s Day, the website received feedback from a large number of fairy believers, accumulating over 20,000 hits in one day. On April 1st, Baines appended a note to the website, thanking the readers for expressing their interest in his story and acknowledging that the fairy corpse was fake. He wrote: “Even if you believe in fairies, as I personally do, there will always have been an element of doubt in your mind that would suggest the remains are a hoax. However, the magic created by the possibility of the fairy being real is something you will remember for the rest of your life.” Subsequently, Baines listed the mummified fairy on eBay and the model attracted nearly 40 bids. The highest at the close of the sale was made by a private art collector in the United States and the fairy was sold for £280.

Dead ‘alien’ found in Siberia snow

INCREDIBLE footage has emerged of what a group of Russians claim to be the remains of a mangled alien.

The lifeless ‘body’ was supposedly discovered lying in snow in the Irkutsk region of southern Siberia following reports of a UFO crash last month.

The ‘extra-terrestrial’ appears to have suffered horrific injuries — including the loss of one limb.

Shocked villagers had told of seeing a pink and blue glowing object hurtling towards the town before the ‘alien’ was found.

The bizarre reports were taken so seriously, they were investigated by the country’s Emergencies Ministry staff.

The mystery deepened when investigators said no aircrafts were reported in the area.

And search and rescue teams found no evidence of an aircraft crash.

The strange clip has now been seen by nearly 900,000 people since Sunday.

But cynical YouTube viewers have claimed it is an elaborate fake.

One blogger said: “This has got to be a hoax. Why do all aliens have to be naked.”

Siberian “Dead alien” fake

A video of what was claimed to be a mutilated alien corpse, which scored hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube, has turned out to be fake.

 

The tiny “dead alien” is just skin from chicken filled withbread, reports the website 7d.org.ua. Police questioned the men who claimed to have found the “body” and they allegedly confessed to creating it themselves.

 

The chief editor of the local Kabansk-Info newspaper initially thought that it was the body of an infant in the video and alerted the police. Officers immediately started the investigation and identified the alleged author.

 

They went to his house and asked him about the infant’s body. The scared man reportedly showed a fake alien corpse. It was even painted in “alien colors”. Scolding is the only possible punishment for such a stunt as it cannot be considered a crime, the report says.

 

The footage was taken near the village of Kamensk in the Russian republic Buryatia, just north of Lake Baikal, the file’s description said.

 

It showed what appeared to be a humanoid body less than a meter high with a skeletal big-eyed head and thin naked body. One of its legs was missing.

 

Emotional off-screen comments said the body was found a couple of hours before and was clearly very dead.

 

Local media reported there were numerous reports of UFO sightings in the area in March, some of them later attributed to bombing training at a nearby military range.

 

The video was uploaded on YouTube on April 14. Three days later it was translated into English and its popularity skyrocketed in the following days. It beat the one million benchmark on Tuesday.
