Hi there John my wife took this photo while we were on our way home from college about three years ago and still am not that sure what it is. These two lights were very bright, so bright they could been seen clear as day from over a mile away. The highway we were on was I-76 heading South from Akron to Lodi about 1 mile from Lodi. It also couldn’t have came from any modern air craft due to it not having any flight indicators and not making any sound what so ever. 

On top of that the object was directly above the median of the highway about 200 to 300 feet in the sky. Some of my friends have came back and said that it was a blimp but after we went under it going at 70 mph the craft was gone and I couldn’t find it anywhere in my rear-view mirror in which I should have been able to see it in less than a minute in which not allowing a blimp to move that far.

I have seen quite a few photos like this, and I am going to use a trail camera case that was caught a year or two ago on camera. Although it is the reflection of the eyes of a deer in the camera lens, I feel the effect is the same. I think what you are seeing, are the two lights of the oncoming car, and the bright headlights. They create an effect in the lens of the camera. 

If you edit the photo and move the lights over the car, they appear to be a match when it comes to distance apart, relative to the car. 

I hope this is a valid theory and of interest to you. I am not trying to diminish what you saw, but it does seem similar to many other solved cases.

However, their response was the fact that the object was seen with the naked eye, and if true, thus rules out a reflection in the camera lens or on the car windshield. Their response was as follows:

On Tuesday at around 1:45 am while walking my dogs around my neighborhood. I entered an area that has no street lights and most of the porch/driveway lights were off. So it was really dark.

I looked up at the stars and noticed that a very large patch of the sky was just black. No stars at all. Being near the city, you can usually see the light being reflected off the clouds. But in this case. It was just black. No city light reflection at all.
I should note that I was still walking down the street, heading West. While partly keeping an eye on the sky and where I was walking, and trying to puzzle out what I was witnessing, I noticed that the stars ahead of the black were disappearing.

I stopped and looked up and back, and noticed that the stars behind, towards the East part of the sky, were reappearing. This added to my being puzzled, since the clouds usually move from a South-West to North-East direction in this area. And whatever this was, it was moving East to West.

Also I noted that a very large part of the sky above me was obscured. But with whatever it was, being so black, I would not venture to guess it’s size or shape as I could not make out any details of the object.

I should also note. There was no sound from the object. My dogs never reacted to whatever was moving above us. All I heard around us was the normal sounds of the night.

Twitter is humming about a YouTube video and some photos that may or may not show UFOs over Houston.

The images were shot Aug. 11 during a rain storm with dramatic thunder and lightning, and they have been reposted and cited many times. The video was shot from a moving car, and the photos may be screenshots from the video.

On Friday, Twitter posts with some version of the phrase, “Mass UFO Sighting Over Houston Texas Lights Up Social Media” were still common.

They ranged in tone from the straightforward to philosophical to tongue-in-cheek: “its my birthday and there have been ufo sightings all over houston. coincidence? i think not.”

Another commenter said, “UFO over Houston? Just NASA.” That prompted this reply: “NASA has successfully built a flying saucer.”

A local expert on UFO sightings said this one could be easily explained.

Fletcher Gray, the volunteer chief investigator for the Texas chapter of the Mutual UFO Network, known as MUFON, said the mysterious circle of lights was a reflection of highway lights since the video was shot through a car window.

“It’s no more than light trapped in the side window,” said Gray, noting that he was curious about the source of the photos.

We were cleaning up after my daughter’s college graduation dinner. They called my sister and I outdoors to view them.

A few days later while viewing the video footage, I realized the orbs that we saw moving rapidly, turning their lights off and still being visible, then some disappearing completely were actually trying to escape a strange creature in the sky (not visible to the naked eye) which is captured consuming the last two orbs at the end of the video footage.

Recent NM ‘skinwalker’ photo ignites fear

CUBA, N.M. (KRQE) – Is a strange alien-looking creature prowling in northern New Mexico?

A Facebook picture circulating Thursday has a lot of people up there worried. The post was shared thousands of times within a few hours and had a lot of people uttering the word skinwalker, a well-known legend in Indian country.

The picture shows an unexplained being lurking on the side of a road.

The person who posted it claimed it was taken near Lybrook and Counselor, which is near the Jicarilla reservation.

The story claims that a geologist was working in an oil field in the area and saw something odd and decided to take a heat signature of it. The next day, the geologist suddenly quit.

The story spread like wildfire with people on social media saying, “seriously freaking out,” “yikes … I’m driving through there tomorrow,” and “skinwalker!”

Skinwalker refers to a Native American legend which was brought to life by author Tony Hillerman.

According to the legend, a skinwalker is a person with the supernatural ability to turn into any animal and walks on all fours.

There are stories of countless encounters, but few will speak of them, too scared they will be targeted again.

Many people who posted and shared the picture Thursday said they found their posts and comments disappear. People who emailed it to others said they were unable to retrieve it.

But everyone can rest easy. It didn’t take long for the picture and story to be debunked.

It apparently comes from a 1980s science fiction move “Xtro,” where a creepy being is born, then goes on the prowl and is spotted by a couple driving along the road.

It’s unclear how the story was connected to Lybrook or Counselor, or that so-called geologist. Perhaps it was just someone having a little fun, but it shows the power of social media and legends.

The New Mexican who posted the image Thursday has since taken it down, saying she shared it because others had. She says she has no information about its origin.
