DoD/OIG Office of Legislative Affairs and Communication (OLAC) Receives Briefing Request on UAP from the SASC and SSCI

On May 10, 2021, the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC) and the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI), requested a briefing from the DoD/OIG on the UAP issue. The exact date of the request is unknown, though both requests for the briefing were discussed in the DoD/OIG OLAC meeting held on May 10th. The official request likely came shortly prior to that meeting.
