My ex husband and I in the summer of 1985 were driving on Parkman Road and saw a large disk floating above a house, through the trees, as we were driving down the street. He slapped on the brakes and backed up and we glimpsed as it flew straight upwards and was gone. It happened so fast. It was about 7 PM.

The chrome (brushed nickle in color is best described) disk shaped aircraft had “colors around” as if painted onto the chrome. We also saw lights that shined down but were very dim and shining downwards. It was about the size, or a bit bigger, than a house roof. And had it wanted to land, there would have been no room anyhow. Nobody has ever believed us so we never told too many. LOL!

Time of Sighting: 5:20 PM Local Time

Description: I am 30 years old and I am from Norway. On Saturday October 10, 2015 I had an experience that I cannot explain. I was a passenger in a car and on my way home from a course in a location called Asker.

I suddenly became aware of a very bright cigar formed object on the sky. Right behind the object a smaller object of the same shape occurred. I was looking at these two objects and I was trying to understand what it was. It was so big, but with no wings and suddenly it disappeared. I was looking around in the sky trying to find it, but the sky was empty. Five Seconds later it suddenly appeared again in the sky, but this time in a new shape and much, much closer to the car I was sitting in. It was V-shaped and upside down if you understand. It was very white and bright but no lights. It was V shaped upside Down and squared like boxes. So I had a 3D sight of it. It was not just a flat thing on the sky, it had mass. (This is in the middle of the day). Behind the biog V it was a smaller V hanging. I was looking at this thing and I was trying to make sense out of it, but I could not understand what it was.

My friend who was driving the car did not see it because she was looking at the road. I was planning to tell her to turn her head around to look at it, but I could not make myself tell her to look. I felt paralyzed by the sight and I was to busy in my head trying to find out what this thing was. And then suddenly it disappeared! The sky was empty again. The big, huge thing was just gone.

When I came home I started to look up pictures on Google and I found this web page with the Woman and her 21 year old son telling her story that is similar to mine. The shape is the same I guess, but the object I saw was an upside down V. And I did see a cigar shaped object first and then it suddenly became V shaped after disappearing and reapparing again. I am just looking for answers. Do you have more information about others seeing stuff like this V shaped thing that I did see this weekend? I have never seen anything like this. The thing was just hanging in the sky. I am just confused. I will be happy if you got more stories like this.

PS: I also attached a drawing on what I did see. Ha ha it is not the best drawing, but this is the best I can do.

Description: I was driving home from my overnight shift. The sky was beautiful blue and there was not one cloud. I couldn’t help but notice a large bright white rectangular object in the sky beyond my home. It simply hovered. It didn’t move at all. Both my son and daughter witnessed it as well. By the time I went to grab a camera to take a photo the object was gone. I have never seen anything UFO related before and this was quite impressive. I am trying to find others who may have seen it as well.

More Information Supplied by Witness: The experience was very surreal. To me, one couldn’t help but notice this object. As I stated, the sky was very blue with no clouds which made this object stand out. At first glance, I must admit that I thought it was a blimp, but it was not. And it wasn’t “cloud white,” but brighter. It was completely rectangular with a section atop on the left side that appeared to be square with an arched top (sort of a “Lego” block appearance). Stranger still was the fact that it wasn’t moving at all. It was completely stationary. My adult son saw it while taking the dogs out in the morning, and my adult daughter saw it while returning home from the grocery store. I didn’t think my iPhone would capture it very well, so I went in my home to grab my Canon camera and zoom lens. By the time I returned outdoors (approximately 3 to 4 minutes) it had simply vanished. I looked all around, but couldn’t locate it anywhere in the visible sky.

It is very difficult to believe that nobody else saw this. However, I have posted on Twitter and Facebook with no responses. If it had just been me, I might question it, but all three of us witnessed this very large object.

It is certainly something that we will never forget, and I know that I will forever wonder exactly what it was that we witnessed.

You know why the internet is awesome? Because you can share the experience of someone discovering a mysterious treasure. Reddit user TramStopDan documented and shared his recent experience of unlocking and discovering the contents of a box which his friend found discarded on the street next to the trash. When he managed to open it, Dan found a mind-boggling collection of posters, illustrations, text, maps, technical drawings and personal belongings.

Speculating on the original owner of the case, Dan writes: “Clearly something happened to this guy that was very memorable. It measures roughly 29″ by 38″ and almost all the drawings are very large… It appears that he was making a diorama/tabletop display. (Why? I have no idea). There are numbered parts and instructions/explanations.”

One Reddit commenter had this theory to add:

Apparently the guy went slightly insane over finding extraterrestrials in the bible. He was obsessed with “living creatures” described in Ezekiel 10 that are described as having four faces: “the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.” I guess he really wanted for that to be an alien encounter.

Also found in the briefcase was this technical drawing that looks like a patent application, quite large and very detailed. Dan looked but could not find any registered patent of this design.

So there’s your daily dose of “what the heck am I looking at?!”

It’s amazing, as well as pretty sad however, to see what people will just throw away. Maybe the author of the box’s contents isn’t around anymore, but his secret world is now forever preserved. And that’s why the internet is so great.
