Background

A wheat crop formation was “seen” by Robbert van den Broeke in a vision, as it was occurring. This formed on August 2, 2010 in Holland. Roy Boschman went to the location described by Robbert as soon as it was light. He indeed found a formation. He also noted some of the seed-heads appeared to be partially burned. These were at the very end of a partially completed ring, or “arc”, which was part of a formation. The objective is to determine whether the cause of the blackening was burning or ustilago fungus. Following are photographs with a graphic of the formation, the formation, and the blackened seed-heads.

Conclusions

The analysis shows the seed-head top is burned. The heat it experienced appears to be localized because the bottom part of the seed-head is normal. The source of the heat is unknown. A logical speculation is that it was involved in the creation of the crop formation. The source was either hot, or there was an energy field around it that induced the seed hulls to burn.

Background

Two formations in snow appeared in December 2009, one on December 19th and the other on December 22nd. (See http://bltresearch.com/robbert/snow09.php. Observations of them included:

a.) No footprints were found in the rings or elsewhere in the field;
b.) No marks of any kind in the centers of the circular rings;
c.) Rings were created by removal of the top 4 inches of snow, but snow was not removed down to the surface of the soil.
d.) No evidence of the snow that had been removed to create rings (where did it go?);
e.) No evidence of icing in the rings (which would be expected if something had been used to melt the snow in the rings).

Another snow formation appeared on February 2, 2010. There was much less snow on the ground than in the above formations, and this one is also very “rough” looking, i.e. not as “geometric” or precise. And there are “scrape” marks, the same as appeared in the larger rings in the other two formations, as if somebody just dragged something around and around. There are no footprints anywhere in any of the rings, and even the slightest weight on the snow leaves a very clear mark. This time snow samples were collected for analysis. Following are diagrams of the formation with sampling locations, as well as photographs.

The objective of this analysis is to determine if there is any chemical signature which could indicate a substance placed on the field either prior to or following the discovery of the new snow formation.

Conclusions

pH measurements and amounts of residues from the snow control and formation snows are equivalent. Ph measurements amounted to 5.8 for all samples. This is normal for snow. Residues amount (on average) to 0.1 g/l for all samples.

No anomalous material is obvious in the formation snow samples. All snow samples (both control and formation) contain similar components, which can be considered as originating from the environment and some contamination. While they are qualitatively similar, they quantitatively vary in amounts of components. The control samples contain environmental materials such as inorganic sulfate and nitrate, humate and carboxylic acid salt functionalities, which resemble sodium formate (though this structure is not confirmed), and some natural ester. A trace amount of poly(dimethylsiloxane) contamination is also detected. This may be from the containers. The formation snows contain environmental components such as humate, and carboxylic acid salt similar to sodium formate, and inorganic nitrate and sulfate.

It should be noted that inorganic nitrates appear to predominate only in snow formation samples C and D. The two nitrates appear to be different. Spectral bands in C are most similar to sodium nitrate and those in D are closer to ammonium nitrate. It is unknown if this is significant.

No snow melting components were found in the formation samples. Sodium formate is possibly present, though not confirmed, in both control and formation

Background

White powders identified as a hydrated form of magnesium carbonate, specifically with formula (MgCO3)4•Mg(OH)2•5H2O, have been examined by this laboratory from assorted unusual events occurring in Holland. One powder was associated with the appearance of a ball of light (Technical Service Report: UT009) and three others were found in different crop formations (Technical Service Report: UT055). Another white powder was recently procured from a crop formation which occurred on October 5, 2009 in Hoeven, Holland. A photograph of the powder as found in the formation is above.

Following is a diagram of the formation. The white powder was found in the large circle as indicated by the arrow.

The objective of this analysis is to identify this powder, and determine if it is the same as those previously encountered.

Conclusions

The white powder is a hydrated form of magnesium carbonate, with an approximate formula of (MgCO3)4•Mg(OH)2•5H2O. No other components are detected by FT-IR.1 The detection limit for this test is about 0.5% depending on the sample.

The powder is the same as encountered in previous Holland events.

No evidence for radiation above background, or UV fluorescing material is detected.

Background

A large (10 – 12’ diameter) very bright, rotating ball of light was observed at about 10 p.m. on August 2, 1997 by Robbert (age 16) and sister Madelon (age 10). It was immediately outside the balcony windows off a bedroom of their home in Hoeven, The Netherlands. They observed the light from this bedroom. A white powder was found lying on the floor outside the balcony doors and adhering to the glass door after the ball of light was seen. Following are photographs of the material as found.

Conclusions

The white material is identified as basic magnesium carbonate with the following approximate chemical structure: (MgCO3)4•Mg(OH)2•5H2O. A very small amount of calcium carbonate may also be present. It is unknown why this material appeared after the UFO event. Known uses for basic magnesium carbonate follow: magnesium salts; fireproofing; heat insulation and refractory; rubber reinforcing agent; inks; glass; pharmaceuticals, dentifrices and cosmetics; free-running table salts; antacid; making magnesium citrate; filtering medium. It’s used in foods as a drying agent, color retention agent, anticaking agent carrier.

Background

White, somewhat tacky, gelatinous-appearing “bread-like” materials were found underneath flattened crop (wheat) in the centers of 6 of the 7 circles in a crop formation. The formation, found August 2, 1997 by Robert Boerman, was adjacent to a well-known “healing center” known as the “Michael Farmhouse” in Brummen, The Netherlands. Following are photographs of the crop formation and one of the gel materials as found.

Above is the crop formation where the gel was found. “Michael Farmhouse” buildings are also visible. Prehistoric burial mounds, destroyed when nearby roads were built, existed in the area until the 1920s.

Conclusions

Two samples of gelatinous materials are identified as a styrene/butyl acrylate copolymer. It has the following structure:

-[CH2CH]x-CH2CH]y-
Ø C=O
OCH2(CH2)2CH3

This is a well-known polymer which is commercially manufactured. Mineral materials (dirt) are present in KS-04-27 at very low levels, while KS-04032 contains significant amounts. Some common uses for this copolymer are in many types of coatings, e.g. anticorrosion coatings, timber and concrete coatings, and wall coatings. The physical appearance of the polymer is unusual.
