Through a conversation by John Greenewald, Jr. with a Public Affairs Officer at the DIA’s Office of Corporate Communications, it is confirmed that in 2009, an OSD review found that AATIP had “limited value to DIA.” Their entire statement:
“After an OSD/DIA review in late 2009, it was determined the reports were of limited value to DIA and there was a recommendation that upon completion of the contract, the project could be transitioned to an agency or component better suited to oversee it. ” (Source Email)
