Office of Special Counsel Investigations on Kellyanne Conway

Background

The U.S. Office of Special Counsel (OSC) is an independent federal investigative and prosecutorial agency. Our basic authorities come from four federal statutes: the Civil Service Reform Act, the Whistleblower Protection Act, the Hatch Act, and the Uniformed Services Employment & Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA).

In November of 2019, I requested all e-mails within OSC that contained the word “CONWAY.” However, through communication with OSC, I amended the request to include all records pertaining to OSC’s investigations on Kellyanne Conway. The approximate dates of responsive records include October 2018 through June 2019.
