Naval Inspector General Complaint about UFOs/UAPs/Aliens and Much More – January 2020

The below document was obtained via the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) from the Naval Inspector General’s office (FOIA Case DON-NAVY-2021-006817). The original request asked for all records pertaining to:

“… Unidentified Flying Objects, or UFOs. Also, these are more commonly referred to in Navy records as “unidentified aerial phenomenon” or “unidentified aerial phenomena” or UAPs for short. I ask that you include ALL training material, videos, photos, reports, letters, memos, e-mails, directives, and procedures that pertain to the above topics at your location.”

The result, according to the FOIA response letter, was one “case” that was submitted in January of 2020, by an unknown member of the public writing to the NAVIGHotline e-mail address.
