The following document was first released in 2003. It has resided in the CIA’s CREST database as document number: CIA-RDP80T01497R000100080015-7.
Although the letter was originally released, the list of histories created, were not. So, on May 25, 2019, The Black Vault filed a Mandatory Declassification Review (MDR) request to the CIA for a review of the complete document.
On March 17, 2020, the CIA released the document. Although redactions did still appear; much of the record was released. It is available below.
