On September 26, 2025, President Donald J. Trump directed that government records related to Amelia Earhart, her final trip, and related matters be declassified and released. This search tool indexes the digitized records as they become available, allowing full-text search across file names and OCR’d document content.

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is responsible for preserving these records and transferring them from federal agencies. Additional material may be added as future releases occur.
