White circles have appeared in freshly plowed fields in New Pine Creek, Oregon.  It was first seen during plowing in May of 1995.

The white material in one field was sampled September 20, 1996.

This is an area that purportedly has high UFO activity, though to this analyst’s knowledge none were reported in conjunction with the appearance of the white circles.

Yet, the circle formation is a mystery.  The object of this analysis is to identify the white substance.

Following are photographs of one of the sites.

These were provided via Dr. Levengood and Nancy Talbott.

Conclusions:

– The white material forming rings in the soil is positively identified as calcium oxalate.

– There is a high probability that aged vegetation is the source of the calcium oxalate in the circles. It is noted that white calcium oxalate is common to many types of vegetation, e.g. damp aged mulch contains calcium oxalate.  (See microphotograph and spectrum of calcium oxalate from mulch on pages 7 and 8.)  However, the reason it is concentrating in the form of circles is unknown.

– Calcium oxalate was found to be in significant amounts in the famous Delphos, Kansas event.  In this 1972 event a UFO was observed releasing a large quantity of material.

Description: Hello:
I have just sent you an email that contains a video I captured about two weeks ago on my phone. The video was originally lost in the storage sense area, and I believed the video to have not even been recorded until I happened to find it about a week ago. I tried to send you an email and attach the video. However the file was too large and it wouldn’t send. It said to share with “one drive”, which I hadn’t done before, so I am not sure how it worked out, or if it said it was sent from my email address, etc. Please let me know if you have received the video, and any thoughts, comments, etc. regarding the strange objects. I will attach to this email some still shots captured from the video when it was paused and zoomed in. The first photo is the strobing star thing and the strange floating object underneath was not seen by eye, just on screen, and seems to morph. The second photo shows that the object has moved from underneath the strobing thing directly and is now directly down to the right.

Second Report From Witness: This video was recorded at 4 AM about two weeks ago. I have severe anxiety which tends to keep me up at night. On this particular night, it was a bad attack. I was out of cigarettes and I had my fiancé go to the gas station to buy me some. Before he left, he called me outside to look at a strange, very large and close “star” which seemed to be strobing multiple colors. Immediately, I took out my phone to record, and on the screen I noticed something strange seemed to be floating directly underneath, though I was unable to see this in the sky, only seeing the strobing object. After I had recorded the video, I scrolled back to show him what I had captured, and the video was not there! About a week ago, I noticed that some of the pictures I had taken of my puppy weren’t there after I took them. I searched my phone, and found in the “storage sense” area of my phone (a Nokia Lumia) that the pictures were somehow being sent there instead of saving in their normal album. I also saw that there were some videos, and was shocked to see that the video of the strobing star was there as well! I have watched this video numerous times, even slowing it down, zooming in, etc. I eventually even noticed that there are “hidden frames”, in which you can see actual triangular light formations and what appears to be a circular “ship”. I am not sure what type of technology you have for viewing these things, but any help would be much appreciated, as I would really love to have insight as to what this thing really is.

Note: Like all night videos this video is difficult to analyze. Attempts to change brightness and contrast did not reveal any useful information.

Update – Oct 19, 2015: Analyst David Mason writes: After reviewing the video of the shape changing UFO it’s difficult to make any significant conclusions. The AGC of the video camera was at maximum thus giving image/frame stacking producing time lag which can generate an image that appears to shape shift while a camera is shaking. This image stacking can generate artifacts when directed at a relatively small light source and can be mistaken for something unusual when a video is reviewed.There is severe clipping of the video background as no details can be resolved through extensive histogram stretching. The audio is not present even after using 50 dB of gain. Sometimes the significance of removed audio and video clipping indicates editing.

Although that can happen when video and audio is converted or stored with non compatible formats.

Some cameras will clip a dark background if it falls below a predetermined threshold of CCD and gain noise.

There’s not enough video resolution or enough tangible information from the witness report to confirm the identity of the object.

More Comments From David Mason: This shape shifting UFO video may not be worth further investigation. The object could have been a star or distant aircraft heading directly toward the observer. The elongation of the object could have been the result of debris on the small sized phone lens. Shape shifting can appear to occur when a phone camera is at maximum AGC. There’s just not enough detail to resolve anything noteworthy even if there was audio or if it was shown in standard speed. I did speed up the video in my software, but that did not help.

Hello, On 03.12.2015 my girlfriend and I were at the park flying my RC airplane, as I was flying I noticed a large glimmer of light off to my right in the sky, as I turned to look I got a feeling I can’t explain, what I witnessed was a massive craft that looked like the ship from the movie independence day, the craft had a cloud like substance around the bottom of it making it look just like a normal cloud from underneath but the top of the craft was clear, it had a transparent dome covering the top of it & inside of that dome there was towers the size of skyscrapers “it looked like a city” that had strange markings on them like hieroglyphs, on the back of the craft there was a large structure that was in the shape of a scorpion tail.

I pointed it out to my girlfriend and said look who it is, she said holy cow * it’s a UFO. We watched this craft fly silently and stealthy from Gresham, Oregon towards Mt.hood before it disappeared in the distance. I ended up reporting this sighting among many others to MUFON who came to my house to interview me and take copies of my raw videos, they ended up closing this case and marking it as unexplained. I recently filmed another much smaller UFO near this same location of a black orb following a airplane, I didn’t report this sighting to MUFON because I have reason to believe that their website is being watched by some other entity.

I did report it to my local airport “Troutdale airport” and long story short I requested information on obtaining radar data for the time and dates of both of these locations, the individual I contacted told me he would get back to me with the information but he never did, he did tell me that I would have to request it to the FAA, pay a data collection fee, and file a freedom of information act before I could get them. The next day after I spoke with this individual & after I gave him the times, dates, and exact locations of these sightings I had 2 USAF fighter jets fly very low and slow down over both locations I reported and then directly over my house very low and very slow. Anyway, I thought I’d share this with you because if you can somehow get the radar data for 03.12.2014 over Gresham, Oregon you will see a extraterrestrial spacecraft. Thanks!

PS. I have recorded countless UFO’s over my home and this location, watched wormholes appear that have red orbs fly out, crafts fly up out of trees, orbs shooting out smaller orbs & more. I am 100% positive we are not alone on this planet.

We have a window above the gas fire place it makes for excellent star gazing, decided to check it out after five minutes I observed a object moving west very slow against the high winds a slight glow on the craft from the moon light made it stand out between the fast moving clouds and the craft was at a slight tilt maybe 20 degrees back then it stopped it looked like it was swinging left to right kind of hovering.

I watched it for about two minutes or so, then two clear lights on the back flashed two times then it was blocked by clouds. stayed watching for quite some time hopping I would see it again no such luck.

Dallas, Oregon, USA. 40miles east of Lincoln City the pacific Ocean.

Size of the object maybe 80feet across x 60feet diamond shape.
