Background

On 05/25/20018 the witness called TBV Investigations’ Hotline and reported a mass sighting of 30 Plus orb shaped objects over the city of Tahlequah, Oklahoma. The case was assigned to Investigator Richard Kidd for investigation and analysis.

Witness Testimony

Witness reported a minimum of 30 Plus Orb shaped objects over Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Witness provided TBV Investigations with a contact number so an investigator could contact him to discuss the event.

The Evidence

On 05/27/2018, investigator Richard Kidd attempted to make contact with the witness and witness was not available at the time.

Richard attempted to make contact with the witness on several occasions and the witness was still not available for interview.

Conclusion

After repeated attempts to contact the witness in regard to the sighting and, no results were obtained, as well as no reports having been called in the the Tahlequah Poloce Dept or any radar contact of the Orb like objects over the city, This case is being closed due to lack of evidence.

Background

On June 3, 2018, a post appeared on Facebook that went viral. It was posted by Ashley Choney, the earliest post I could find when this case file was written, and it shows a photograph of a “UFO” or saucer-like craft on the back of a semi, followed by “20 police cars” as indicated by the witness.

The case was investigated by the creator of The Black Vault, John Greenewald, Jr.

The Analysis

There was something eerily familiar when I saw this photograph making it’s rounds. When I am writing this report, the post has had just about 20,000 shares, more than 7,000 likes and more than 3,000 comments. I recalled seeing a post nearly identical to this a few years back, and dug up a December 2011 video from YouTuber Alex Dieguez in the the same exact location as this new posting — specifically, Ponca City, Oklahoma.

In 2011, when this story and video first circulated, it too went viral. With thousands of shares and likes, it was unknown what was seen that day, but it sparked various news stories and newspaper articles.  That is, until Brooks McKinney, senior manager of public relations at Northrop Grumman, closed the mystery. He told Life’s Little Mysteries, a project by the popular LiveScience.com website, that the craft was a transport of the X-47B. According to Northrop Grumman:

“The X-47B is a tailless, strike fighter-sized unmanned aircraft developed by Northrop Grumman as part of the U.S. Navy’s Unmanned Combat Air System (UCAS) Carrier Demonstration program. Under a contract awarded in 2007, the company designed, produced and is currently flight testing two X-47B aircraft. In 2013, these aircraft were used to demonstrate the first ever carrier-based launches and recoveries by an autonomous, low-observable relevant unmanned aircraft. In April of 2015, the X-47B once again made aviation history by successfully conducting the first ever Autonomous Aerial Refueling (AAR) of an unmanned aircraft. AAR unlocks the full potential of what an unmanned surveillance, strike and reconnaissance system can do in support of the Navy. These historical demonstrations solidify the concept of future unmanned aircraft and proved that the X-47B can perform standard missions like aerial refueling and operate seamlessly with manned aircraft as part of the Carrier Air Wing.”

The source of this, was published on December 20, 2011, on the LiveScience.com website.

With the 2011 mystery solved, now we have the post again, or a similar one, in 2018.

What is interesting to note, is the fact that the truck transporting the craft, is nearly identical (or IS identical) in both make, model and color as the 2011 video.

I put a side by side comparison:

It is likely, that this is the X-47  being transported again by the same transport company using a nearly identical vehicle. Oddly, it is seen and photographed in the same exact city of Ponca City, Oklahoma.  Northrop does have facilities in Oklahoma City and an address in Ponca City, so the locale in relation to the “sighting” makes sense.

It should also be noted, that on June 3, 2018, the same day as the original post of this “saucer” craft, the following was posted by Trevor Macy, a reporter with KWCH Channel 12 in Witchita, Kansas:

Hard to tell if it is the same craft/truck, but again, you have a near identical make, model and color of the transport vehicle.

Others have also referenced an “orb” in the photograph. I believe this can also be explained fairly easily. Here is a screen shot of the orb, along with what should also be noted — power lines.

To the left of the photograph, you will see the “orb” referenced by many others posting and re-posting this photograph. This is touted as further proof this is some kind of alien spacecraft, as it has its own buddy following along.

However, I also pointed out power poles in the photograph. I believe by these, we can safely assume there are power lines running from pole to pole, and going off camera frame.  This ‘sphere’ is not a craft, but rather, is a visibility marker ball. These are often put on power lines to indicate to passing aircraft and helicopters, where the danger is if you fly too low. They mark the power lines not easily visible when flying an aircraft.

Conclusion

Based on the evidence, this is likely simply a transport of the X-47B (or similar shaped craft) as talked about in 2011 by Northrop Grumman’s Public Relations Senior Manager.

This is aside from the fact that if it was anything involving a massive amount of secrecy, like an alien craft or back engineered technology, it would not be transported in the open on public highways in it’s actual form — but rather, it would be disguised, transported under the cover of darkness, or even transported in an open vehicle at all.

The “orb” that is often also cited as being in the photograph, is likely a visibility marking ball.

A witness experienced a close contact with a UFO in Buffalo, Oklahoma on May 18, 2009 at 12:30 a.m. Excerpts from the Field Investigator’s report follow.

5/18/2009 Sunday about 12:30am. facing west

• Witness first noticed that lights were flying very low (going way to slow to be an airplane) and appeared to have just flown over Buffalo
• Witness described object with blue, red, and white strobe lights (were large and in line with each other) with quite a bit of distance in between all three. The middle light was white and strobe very slowly, and the red/blue lights were on the ends.
• The lights turned and were coming directly towards witness at a diagonal angle, the white light was covered with a round, concave, clear, glass-type covering which appeared to be very thick glass, and had some type of circular design on it.
• The red and blue lights were different than the center light. They were tall and cylinder shaped, more like beacons, and they appeared to be sitting on top of something, and appeared to be covered by a different type of material, it looked more like some type of colored plastic, but transparent enough that the lights underneath could shine through.
• Witness never saw a shape or even any type of structure behind the lights.
• Within 10-15 seconds the lights had reached the dirt road in front of witness, and where crossing over the top of the power lines. It became apparent that the lights were slowing down as they got closer, and were now nearly at a complete stop.
• Witness ran from the corral to pickup and jumped inside, which took about 15 seconds, (wearing flip flops) Once in the pickup truck witness was now facing north, and the lights had moved just behind the corral and had turned south, facing witness again. THE LIGHTS WERE SITTING COMPLETELY STILL, HOVERING, ABSOLUTELY NO MOVEMENT, other than the strobeing white light. The distance from witness and the lights at this point was estimated around 150′.
• Witness thought it was a single craft, and judging by the distance of the lights from end to end, would have been anywhere from 40-50′.
• For about another 5 seconds witness fumbled trying to find cell phone, and staring at the lights in disbelief.
• Witness indicated this was the most terrifying moment she ever experienced.
• Witness drove forward, and got to the gate leading out of the pasture, stopped looked over shoulder, the lights were still sitting in the same place, NOT MOVING.
• Witness couldn’t go towards town without passing close by the lights, so turned south. (And laid the pedal down).
• About a 1/4 mile down the road, witness turned and looked over shoulder, and the lights were nowhere in sight.
• Witness indicates behind the corral a large portion of the grass is laid down, and Witness took some pictures of that area.

Investigator Narrative: 5/29/2009

Arrived in Woodward OK. At 2:30 PM CDT. Woodward is 35 miles South of Buffalo OK. This is where the sighting took place. Contacted the witness and made arrangements to meet at the site. Arrived on scene at 5:30 PM CDT.

Upon meeting the witness her sincerity and creditability was very evident. So was her fear and apprehension. It appeared that the witness experienced something traumatic. Introductory discussion ensued followed by site evaluation. Initial photographs of the affected area were taken and measurements of that same area were acquired. As darkness fell it became apparent that a lot can be seen in the dark sky and the witness appeared nervous over every moving light but all observed that night was explainable.

Initial evaluation of the site showed a definite disruption of the area where the alleged Craft hovered or landed. The entire area appears dead with three areas where the vegetation is crushed in a swirled pattern. A scan using a handheld Geiger counter showed no abnormal reading and no evidence of radiation. Photos were taken and clearly show the condition of the affected area.

5/30/2009

Arrived at the site at 10:30 am. This investigator chooses to arrive early so as to collect samples and specimens alone. Samples of the affected grass were taken as well as control samples from an area about 200ft. removed from the subject area. The same procedure was used to acquire soil samples. Investigator then proceeded to the witness home to begin the formal debriefing. Following a detailed discussion in which the witness repeated the events sited in the background report and also revealed her growing sense of apprehension we proceeded back to the site to attempt a video interview and to acquire additional video of the area of concern. We also wanted to take specimens of the anomalies on the horse’s coat.

Everything was accomplished with the exception of the horse samples. Seems they were not willing to return to the corral until their nighttime feeding. That necessitated another trip to the field tomorrow. Arrived back at the motel at about 6:00 PM.

It should be noted at this time that the area (Buffalo, Oklahoma located in the county of Harper) is completely surrounded by hundreds of wind turbines. These things seem to be constantly working.”

The objective is to examine soil and grass samples from the site to determine whether there are any anomalies that may be related to the event. Above are photographs of the samples.

Description: The witness called and reported his encounter about 4 months after it occurred.

He had been in bed and woke up and saw an entity in his room. The entity was gray colored, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and had humanlike attributes.

The witness got up and let his dog outside. He at once saw a triangular UFO hovering near his home. He also saw a little girl while outside. When he went inside he saw a figure through the glass in the door that looked like the entity he saw when he awoke in his room.

He rushed down to his mother’s bedroom and crawled through a fireplace to reach it. Next he remembers something “talking” to him through his head.

Then he heard all windows opening. He said that everything went white after that.

He next remembers waking up the next morning. He recalled that his tongue was very dry. He also recalled some shaking to the point that he thought that an earthquake occurred.

He discussed the experience with his parents the next morning. This is not the first experience that the witness has had.

The witness is mentally sound and does not take drugs. He has been diagnosed with ADHD and sometimes takes medication for it. However, he was not taking medication the night of his encounter.
