I had just got off work at 8:00 PM Central Time and headed across town to get home. I hadn’t eaten dinner yet so I stopped at Sonic Drive-Thru to get a bite to eat and had just pulled around to get my order when I noticed a really bright light hanging relatively low in the sky.

I would have passed it off as a plane or a helicopter, but it was exceptionally bright, so I kept my eye on it. I started noticing it to move in erratic patterns, so I knew it couldn’t have been a normal aircraft.

I got my food from the window and pulled out of the drive-through and pulled over to the side of the road and watched it and noticed it was changing colors, changing trajectories, and exhibiting behaviors similar to other UFO sightings I had seen on the web, so I pulled out my phone and recorded it for about four and a half minutes.

During this time period, it started high in the sky, and was emitting a greenish-blue light, that turned to a solid blue. It would stop, then flash a really bright white light, hover momentarily, then disappear.

It then appeared in a different location, this time emitting a vivid red light. It flashed a bright purple light, turned red again, then quickly moved across the sky.

It then changed to a bright white-green light, and seemed like it was floating down similar to a feather falling, then started to rapidly descend. It hovered just above the treeline, then disappeared below my line of sight.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are investigating after a Northland farmer reported that one of his cows had been found dead and mutilated, apparently by someone who a veterinarian says knew what they were doing.

According to Kansas City Missouri Police, officers responded to a call on Thursday morning to a farm near 120th and Brightwell in rural Platte County, just west of KCI. There, officers said that they found the cow, which had its sexual organs and udder removed.

The cow’s owner, Casey Hamilton, told police that the cow had been ill, and had been moved to another pasture away from the rest of his herd. According to the police report, the cow was alive and recovering when it was last checked on Wednesday night, but was found dead the following morning.

A veterinarian examined the cow, and determined that it’s vagina and udder had been removed. According to the police report, the vet told officers that it was a precise cut and whoever did it “knew what they were doing.” He also stated that the cow was alive when the parts were removed.

“I couldn’t believe it happened so close to home,” said rancher Gordon Phillip, a friend of Hamilton’s and one of three ranchers in the area. The ranchers lease the land from KCI – the cattle herds keep tall grass down, which in turn helps keep deer off the airport’s runway.

“”It’s amazing, like how the vet said, if he had done a massive masectomy like that on a cow there would be blood all over the field, but there was no blood,” said Phillip.

Police say that when the cow was discovered on Thursday morning, the gate was still locked and there were no footprints or tire tracks leading to the dead cow.

“It’s somewhat amazing because the lack of evidence,” said Phillip, who says that he discovered one of his own cows mutilated 30 years ago. When he asked his vet for an explanation, Phillip says that he just looked towards the sky.

“He was just amazed when I showed him this cow 30 years ago, he went around and around looking for where a space machine had landed to see if he could find any burn marks in the pasture,” said Phillip.

The cow’s exact cause of death has not been determined, but the vet told police that the cow did not die from the mutilation. The lack of evidence is leading to a conundrum for investigators and ranchers alike.

“(It’s) just amazing how whoever does this terrible thing to animals seems to know what they are doing,” said Phillip.

HENRY COUNTY, Mo. – A Missouri rancher is getting tired of making disturbing discoveries on her Henry County land. Lyn Mitchell said she is out of reasonable explanations for what’s to blame for killing her livestock.

Mitchell said she’s normally a private person, but the deaths of three of her cattle have her speaking out.

“It’s just something I want some answers to,” she said.

Mitchell found the first cow in December 2011.

“She had obviously been cut on the side of her jaw,” Mitchell said. “Her tongue was gone, her ear was gone.”

She initially assumed the animal had fallen victim to teenagers or was part of a sacrificial ritual, until earlier this month. Mitchell made the next discovery on July 9.

“I looked first to see her tongue was gone, then immediately noticed the udder had been completely removed,” Mitchell said.

The reproductive organs were gone too, Mitchell said. A char mark outlining the cow’s body – still visible today – made the death even more mysterious.

Finally on July 19, Mitchell found the third cow. She said its heart was exposed and its teats were cut off.

All three animals’ tongues were also cut out.

Mitchell said the cuts all looked surgical with clean, precise incisions. And in all three deaths, Mitchell said there was no blood despite the animals’ gaping wounds.

Since the cows graze in such an isolated place, nobody saw or heard a thing. Mitchell said the sheriff’s department and a veterinarian have investigated, but can’t come up with an answer.

“The more it happens, the more questions you get. And the more you learn, you find more and more things that make you ask more questions,” Mitchell said.

With all other reasonable causes debunked, Mitchell said she is open to the possibility that extraterrestrial life could be responsible.

Similar cases of animal mutilation have been reported in Missouri in the past few years. The FBI nearly investigated in the 1970s. With the unsolved mysteries looming, aliens have become a common answer.

Mitchell is considering installing cameras to catch the person or thing in action the next time they visit her ranch. She just wants the killing to stop.

“Something happened to these cows and it’s not something that you see every day, it’s not in your normal, so something else is going on,” Mitchell said.

Description: The witness reported that he was visiting Houston, Missouri to look for a home. (At the time he was a police officer in Chicago, IL. He was planning to retire in a few years to a new location.) He said that his realtor put him up in a house close to the realtor’s home. In the middle of the night the witness was awakened by a sound very similar to the sound heard in the movie “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.”

He was quite surprised by this. At the time the realtor’s two dogs began barking wildly. Suddenly the dogs stopped barking and the witness went back to sleep. The next morning he felt a sore spot on his left calf muscle. He looked down and found a sore. He pulled out some “brass- like or copper-like” material from his calf. He had no idea how the metal got there. He looked at the metal through a magnifying glass and wasn’t able to figure what it was or how it got into his leg.

He said that the spot on his calf is still there after nearly 15 years. He also stated that the spot sometimes itches.

Investigator’s Notes: This is a unusual case in that the witness claims to have heard a sound like the sound in the movie “Close Encounters of Third Kind.” The witness has credibility given that he was a police officer for 30 years in Chicago.

The witness did not see anything, but he thought that the dogs were reacting to something. The metal that he pulled out his leg the next morning is somewhat similar to the “implants” described by alleged alien abductees. It is difficult to say what happened on this night.

Like most close encounters and abductions physical evidence is lacking. (The witness didn’t keep the metal that he extracted from his leg.)

Description: I got up around 3:00 AM. Because my dog was acting really funny. He was growling and smelling the bedroom window. So I thought he needed to use the bathroom. I went outside in my backyard and smoked a cigarette while my dog went into the yard.

I was looking up at the sky trying to find the moon and I saw one blue light (big). At first I thought it was an airplane, but then it started moving closer toward my yard and I saw two other blue lights with all three forming the shape of a triangle all moving together toward my yard. I Kept looking to see what it was then got scared and decided maybe I should go back inside so I called my dog and went inside.

Then today (8/30/2010) at 10:55 PM I went to let my dog out again. He was acting strange. I smoked a cigarette looking at the sky and once again there was the big blue light, but a little bit farther to the side of where it was the first time. This time I only saw two blue lights and I was looking at them trying to see what they were. The next thing I knew I was looking down at the ground had no cigarette in my hand anymore and I got up looked for my dog and he acted like he saw a ghost. He started growling and smelling toward where the light was, but the light was already gone.

I went inside and it was now 12:00 AM. I don’t know what happened between the hour I was outside and don’t remember. Also a couple months ago my brother (who is staying with me) told me about a weird shaped light outside his window, but nobody believed him. (Now I sure do.) Ok and just now as I was writing this My TV just turned on nothing, but a blank red page and it sounded like someone was saying something, but in a very strange language.

So now I am very freaked out!
