Witness Testimony

The witness submitted the following information:

“9-10pm it was pretty dark because it was basically all country highway. A few streetlights between fields and trees and small lakes. The sighting was quick. I have no idea what way it was facing. I have no idea if anyone noticed it. There wasn’t a car in sight on my side of the road. The other side was pretty empty I don’t recall any other cars. Exactly what happened: I was driving and noticed it was getting dark out, I kept thinking “2 hours to go, stay awake” I chugged my large cold gas station coffee and had to slow down my car and stare into the sky in disbelief. I saw a triangle of lights in the sky and it was pretty low to the ground. I tried to rationalize and started thinking “it’s just a tower for planes, its just some odd light pole” I drove for 10 more seconds alright with that thought. I peaked and saw it in my rearview mirror still a little in shock. Finally I pulled over and decided to take a picture for reassuring myself and to show my friends for opinions. Sure enough by the time I looked back up with my camera ready it was gone. It’s been almost a year and I’m still a little shook from it and unsure of what I saw. . i can’t remember how many lights it had. 3. Maybe 5. They were bright. And definitely a triangle. They were pretty spread out and that’s what made me second guess my non UFO idea of it being a tower.”

Background

This case came through the TBV Investigations UFO Report Form. It was assigned to TBV Investigations researcher Michael Glenn. 

Upon reading the account this investigator asked for more specific details, and at this time none have been forthcoming from the witness. After one month, we have closed the case due to insufficient contact, and insufficient evidence to make a viable conclusion. 

Witness Testimony

“At first I thought it was a weather balloon in the sky. It looked shiny, clear and kinda metallic completely round. Then like a moon eclipsing it started to disappear slowly. Then in the blink of an eye it was gone. 30 seconds later it reappeared and did the same eclipsing disappearing thing. It did not appear again. I’ve never seen anything like it, and it definitely felt not of this world.”

Conclusion

Not enough data to draw a conclusion, nor to validate the event.

Possible causes for the event would only be speculative.

Description: We saw lights of perfect circular shape. They were very bright lights above the thick clouds.

They remained stationary for a few minutes (about 10 minutes) and then disappeared. My whole family saw this phenomenon. We live in a very quiet area. There were no lights beamed from below. It wasn’t moving in the air like a kite with lights.

UFOs NorthWest Note: Some will say that these lights are a reflection from the ground.

I say no (as did the witnesses). The lights were observed (and photographed).

They persisted for 10 minutes and then abruptly vanished.

The photos were taken with a Canon EOS REBEL T3 digital camera. This is a “high end” camera with a high resolution.

Description (In Witness’s Own Words): iI just was sitting in my pickup watching my brother and his girlfriend driving over hill when I turned to look over my left shoulder. I saw a big orange ball spiraling through the air coming toward me.

The next thing I know I was looking ahead and my brother’s headlights were coming over the hill and I turned to look over my left shoulder and the orange light was changing colors as it sat on the ground. When it turned white it shot straight up. It seemed only a minute since my brother had left but it was over two hours and I don’t remember a thing.

I have never reported this until now as I still wonder what happened to me that night.

Investigator’s Notes: The witness is describing a close encounter. However, the report is confusing in that it is unclear how the experience transpired. It sounds as if his brother left his location and then returned two hours later, but this is not known.

He also says that the object landed, but doesn’t mention any details about a landing. I will be writing the witness to obtain more information. Any updates will be posted.
