Burns, former Director of the Bureau of Investigation, concerning a theory that Booth lived many years after the assassination of President Lincoln. Kennedy, with the intent of assassinating him. On December 11, 1960 in Palm Beach, Florida, Pavlick positioned himself to carry out the assassination by blowing up Kennedy and himself with dynamite, but delayed the attempt because Kennedy was with his wife and children. He was then arrested before he was able to stage another attempt.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-5547\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theblackvault.com\/documentarchive\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/guiseppezangara.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"75\" height=\"100\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.theblackvault.com\/images\/pdf.gif\" alt=\"\" \/>\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/documents.theblackvault.com\/documents\/fbifiles\/assassins\/giuseppezangara-fbi1.pdf\">Zangara, Giuseppe<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>[305 Pages, 165.5MB] &#8211;\u00a0Giuseppe &#8220;Joe&#8221; Zangara (September 7, 1900 \u2013 March 20, 1933) was an Italian immigrant and naturalized citizen of the United States who attempted to assassinate then-President-elect Franklin D. Roosevelt on February 15, 1933.\u00a0 During a night speech by Roosevelt in Miami, Florida, Zangara fired five shots with a handgun he had purchased a couple days before.
