According to the FBI Document:<\/p>\n

The Rubber stamp and Printing standards\u00a0Reference File is (was?) located in Room 3161 of the FBI.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

This reference file contains approximately 100 type\u00a0style catalogs for rubber stamp production and\u00a0mechanical printing use.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

This reference collection also\u00a0contains the Printing Process Identification Micro graph\u00a0Reference Collection, which contains 20 sets of printed \u00a0samples that are representative of the four primary\u00a0printing processes (letterpress, offset and intagleo).<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

This file was began by J. Edgar Hoover, who wrote different companies personally looking for catalogs and samples of their rubber stamps and type face printing.<\/p>\n

This was used throughout the decades, but come the late 1980s, was barely used and was later re-evaluated on whether or not it was still worth keeping.<\/p>\n

It was released to The Black Vault in October of 2015, and archived here:<\/p>\n
