It was the first document I had ever received under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and will always remain special to me in that regard. This document was classified &#8220;CONFIDENTIAL.&#8221; \u00a0The statement read as follows (full <a href=\"https:\/\/documents.theblackvault.com\/documents\/ufos\/nsa\/now_you_see.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">.pdf version<\/a>):<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1244\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1244\" style=\"width: 980px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theblackvault.com\/casefiles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/2015-04-19_8-50-24.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-1244\" src=\"https:\/\/www.theblackvault.com\/casefiles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/2015-04-19_8-50-24-1024x519.png\" alt=\"Statement by Captain Henry S. Shields and the &#8220;1976 Iran Incident&#8221;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Another great find within the NSA files, was the routing slip for the original intelligence document.
