{"id":1017,"date":"2015-03-02T23:14:14","date_gmt":"2015-03-02T23:14:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.theblackvault.com\/documentarchive\/?p=1017"},"modified":"2015-03-04T17:58:40","modified_gmt":"2015-03-04T17:58:40","slug":"life-on-europa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theblackvault.com\/documentarchive\/life-on-europa\/","title":{"rendered":"Life on Europa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In 1997, frozen oceans and spewing volcanoes were found on the surface of Europa, one of Jupiter&#8217;s moons in our solar system.\u00a0 As this could be\u00a0a critical combination for life to begin, many proposals were sent to send probes to Europa&#8230; and rumor was that they were all denied.<\/p>\n<p>I filed a FOIA request for all documents pertaining to these proposals, and to the possible life on Europa.\u00a0 The request was filed with NASA, and documents were released in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>The first part of the release is an index of documents relating to Europa, and possible life on it.
