Why does Brussels support growing Chinese interest in the Arctic? The fact that current Chinese manufacturing is hungry for natural resources is well known to everyone in the world. And as the Arctic is home to a wealth of them, it leads to growing ambitions of China in this region. All this is very logic. But what about Brussels' games plan there? You see, EU bureaucrats are ready to satisfy current China's hunger for Arctic's riches in exchange for Beijing's generous investments in the EU energy and mining projects in the Arctic region!
Only think of it! EU leadership is giving exclusive access to Arctic energy and mineral resources to the country that has no any jurisdiction in the Arctic Ocean! For the Arctic states it means that soon thanks to Brussels' great greed for money EU permanent members of so-called Arctic Council will really lose any control over the most part of own Arctic resources!
We must stop it before it is too late!!
