I got this from a repost a reddit, but the story is:
Darpa Low Earth Orbit
originally it was posted at 4chan, the thread got spammed by MANY bots quick, was shut, a new one started, then shut very fast, I saw a link on another forum which had the pic (but I can't recall the forum name) Then is was upped to reddit /UFOs, and was quickly deleted and never talked about again. The original poster posted encrypted tor links, then dropfile appeared at reddit.
The exif data was also posted (I didn't save it, but I think you can extract it fromt he image?) Anyway data on exif had labels with labels like:
(Compartmentalized satellite info/not for foreign eyes/top secret)
Why was it erased?
WHAT THE HELL IS THIS????????????
I don't know why it was erased so quick without explaination.

I saw this posted as well. Not sure what to think of it.
My personal opinion thinks it might be a hoax, but there is no way to tell, to be honest, unless someone comes forward with a bit more information.

Man, I really thought someone would know what this thing is...
I figured the most obvious was a ship from some sci-fi movie I've never seen, but I searched and searched and found nothing that remotely resembles this thing.
With most decent UFO pictures, you have everybody coming in claiming its fake, I was extremely surprised that in every thread this was posted, NO arguement was made about the authenticity of the pic, just attacks on the poster.
I am interested in the exif data, if anybody here is familiar with how it works maybe they can look at it. I don't know if its easily faked, and the titles were very convincing and ominous.
I had to search to find out that "SCI" was actually a DOD acronym for "Compartmentalized Satellite Info" and the exif contained the "NORFON" classification as well.
Another anomaly that may reveal the source, the image is triple layered, green, white, pink. All of the same object and written data on screen, just overlapped 3 times. Does anybody know if satellites take images in 3 colors like that?
The only out of place thing was that MONTAUK is obviously the word on the bottom right of the pic. I am certain the writing at the bottom was added afterwords. But in the exif data posted as an image, the guy took the time in MS paint to write Montauk above the exif data. What could the Montauk connection be? I've heard the Montauk rumors, but nothing about classified satellites, or space monitoring.
I've been interested in this stuff for a long time, 20+ years now (damn, I feel old) and I've never seen an image have this weird affect on me. I don't know if its real or not, but would love to find out one way or the other...
