UFO spotted above Dublin as Ireland turns X-Files
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Actually is a triangular craft moving at mind-boggling speed near the River Liffey in Dublin.
At first all that can be seen are a few twinkling stars, but seconds later, the nightscope used for the filming zooms in to reveal a strange triangle-shaped crafted dotted with bright lights.
Whatever it is, it’s in an almighty rush, because it’s travelling at an astonishing speed.
Nick Pope - the man dubbed as Britain’s answer to Fox Mulder from the X-Files - who used to examine UFO sightings for the MoD, told The Sun: "The video seems to have been taken through a night scope and presumably shows things not visible to the naked eye.
"It appears to show a structured craft moving at incredible speed. The configuration of the lights is unlike any aircraft I've ever seen.
"It's either some secret prototype aircraft or drone, or something considerably more exotic."
The MoD used to investigate reports of UFOs, but has down closed down its ‘X-Files’ department.
A spokesman said: We do not feel there is any military value in reviewing the public's sightings."
What do you think the strange craft is? Let us know by leaving a comment below.

Interesting video, John. Blurry, grainy and seriously lacking detail, but interesting. Without proposing any fakery, it resembles the general layout of at least two known military aircraft: the F-111 and the B-1. Neither of them normally has such a 'light' layout, but both are supersonic and can maneuver quite well.
As for classified types, well, who knows? It could be, but if numeric designations follow past trends, then a TR-3B would either be a variant of Lockheed's venerable U-2 spyplane series, or this:
Cool roadster, (not mine, sorry) but I'd rather have a Spit, preferably with Weber side-drafts or fuel injection instead of those SU monstrosities. It's more fun to drive if you don't have to re-synchronize your carburetors regularly. 😎

That craft did appear to be moving extremely fast. Even supersonic aircraft, that we know of, don't move across the sky that fast at that apparent altitude. Hypersonic re-entry vehicle? Interesting video.
As far as Aurora goes, there is no such program. Program names are usually top secret or above top secret. The only people who know the name of the program are those directly involved in it. But they might end up calling something Aurora simply because people have already latched onto that name, plus its pretty catchy. If the program name is Schnickerdoodle, that's not very catchy.
