I love those kinds of quotes, with words like everything and nothing...

Like if everything is to be doubted, then "everything is to be doubted" is to be doubted.

But of course!

There is a quote in Assassins Creed "Nothing is true, everything is permitted" which is ultimately contradictory.

"George Bush says he speaks to god every day, and christians love him for it. If George Bush said he spoke to god through his hair dryer, they would think he was mad. I fail to see how the addition of a hair dryer makes it any more absurd."

There's hope that there is absolute truth in the world because of the quote "There is no absolute truth."

This thread died a very swift death. Danggit.

I'm formulating a new thread for R&S on focus. Basically about being in the zone.

Quotes
"Without Knowledge, Skill cannot be focused. Without Skill, Strength cannot be brought to bear and without Strength, Knowledge may not be applied." - Alexander the Great's Chief Physician

Your focus determines your reality. Qui Gon Jin.

Your focus is one with delusion. Trey Azagthoth.

The ego is nothing other than the focus of conscious attention. Alan Watts.

"SHUCHU RYOKU - Focus all your energy to one point." - Shioda Gozo
