Ditto.

If there is something I don't miss from way back is them ugh so terrible tasting TV dinners.

Mailboxes......around here for the last few years mailboxes (the post office mailboxes is what I mean) have started to totally disappear.

Tv dinners..lol
Those old foil ones right?
They'd take forever to heat up.
For a convenient meal..they sure were inconvenient.
Thank heavens for microwaves (and microwave meals)

I miss drive in movie theaters. There are only about five left in the USA I think I read once.

I use to love the drive in..wish they'd make a comeback.

I think we still have a working one around here somewhere (in Riverside)

the last time I went to one was in oceanside when my boy was a baby (just before that one closed)

It was one of our regular date night things for a long time, me and my H..going to the drive in. (and me and my girrls before I got married..we loved it)

Willie Wonka quotes..
What is this Wonka, some kind of funhouse?
Why? Are you having fun?
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men.
We are the music makers, we are the dreamers of dreams

Disney used to sell the old cartoon cells. Now they probably don;t even make them like that anymore. All done by computer. Mel Blanc used to be the voice of many great cartoons, and his son took over many of them. Jim Bacus was Mr. Magoo. Old cartoons are another lost artform to the computer.

Drive ins, we use to goto A&W or Bobs. Cruising Van Nuys Blvd and going to Bob's drive in on weekends was a must after the football games. Now the site of a huge Nissan car lot. The tradition lives on however in the Burbank Bobs. 😀

Those be the ones. I can't remember preparing them since I was only a kid. All I know they tasted awful. Just like the food on the planes back than did too. I don't think we ate them very often since my mother is a big believer in home cooked food....still today.

Yeah...........the drive in....great memories. We still have one that is open too. Been years since I went.....might be worth going again just for the nostalgia effect. 😀
