There are so may fakes or reproductions out there that it has made it somewhat difficult because I try to get badges that were actually worn by police officers.

There are a couple of things to look for when buying a badge, does the badge have the UI Number and is it Hallmarked by the correct manufacturer and does it pass the drop test.

As an example of Reproductions I have a United States Marshals Star. I is Hallmarked and has no UI Number it is Hallmarked Avandale and Wessott which is not the correct manufacturer which is Blackinton.

A real problem is that these reproduction badges made by legitimate badge companies in Germany or Spain are so accurate unless you knew what you were looking for you would think they are genuine.

So just a heads up to people that a person who has a badge alone claiming to be law enforcement is an imposter as a badge alone holds no authority whatsoever.

As for Karaoke...yeah, maybe we could do a duet bionic??
