I'm sitting here eating my double cheeseburger and I'm thinking you people should mind your own business. Meat. It's what's for dinner. "I want my baby back, baby back, baby back, ribs. Baby! The other, other white meat. I'm higher than you on the food chain. Get in my belly!"

Just wait they'll invent a cow that actually wants to be eaten and will verbally offer you the most succulent parts of its body befor nipping of to humanely shoot itself for your dinner, or you could have everything made simple without muss and fuss in a giant metal tank.

As you can see they restored the walled garden. It is a very good program.

Well I agree to that point, mind your own business.
However, I agree aswell that meat should be banned or decreased alot in the nearest future.
NOT because I don´t want meat, but it´s too risky considering all these diseases out there that are beginning to spread all over the world...
At the same time...Plants won´t be...that much safer soon either...
So in one sentence...
WE ARE PRETTY MUCH FUCKED UP SEVERELY! Laugh

The only reasons there are so many diseases in meat is because of all the crap they put into the meat. I you find a good Victorian breed of cattle you’ll be fine but if you have any of the `new` crap you’re pretty much screwed.

Yep. Anti-biotics, vaccinations, growth hormones, steroids, unnatural feeds, inorganic fertilizers, pesticides, radioactive fallout in the soil, bio-toxins, air pollution, water pollution, soil pollution and factory farming where each cow gets just enough space to stand still and eat and crap all over itself. That's why the meat at fast food tastes like crap.

White Wash Coming
Hey, if the scientists who say that the earth is actually on a cooling trend then might this cause another ice age?

Where'd that come from? Do you actually think every move towards a better tomorrow has to to do with global warming? Most of this thread has not been about global warming, on the contrary its largely been about the ecomomics of efficiency that we presently do not have. Example Do we really need to use & mine fuel guzzling tractors, planes, trains, ships, and trucks to harvest and transport food grown on land which is four times larger than it needs to be when it can be grown in a space the size of the family attic year round? Another example why pay 20$ a fill up when its possible to charge a comparable EV or pneumatic car for $4. Why pay $6-8 billion for a nuclear reactor when the alternative only costs $1 billion.

I'm not the only one coming to realize all this, Wall Street is too. Think about my earlier calculations. The entire population of the USA could fit comfortably in just New England living off food grown in their attics. Imagine how the cost of living goes down ot having to transport as many goods or commute as far as before. Imagine a world where you don't have to breathe in car fumes or worry about nuclear meltdowns.

Not everything is global warming stuff out there, It just happens to be just another reason to go greener, its not the primary raison d'etre.
