I have had heavy thoughts on this for a while. Ive grown up as a Christian, always been around church. As a child I was always fascinated by space, time travel and UFOs.

I've always believed in things unseen.

For several years now I've been researching extraterrestrials, interdimensional beings, UFOs and reading articles to mainstream headlines. Most recently more and more is coming out from governments around the world on admittance of this subject.

I know without a doubt UFOs are real, and some form of ETS.

As a Christian this is a conflict, as I do not believe one can believe in both. If Christ is lord of all, how can a higher being be here on Earth (above Earth), etc.

It seems contradictory. And I can't understand how you can believe in God and aliens. If has to be one or the other and if in fact there came a time when a main event occurred like video evidence or mass witnessed landings and meeting of govt officials or what have you, wouldn't that cement the fact religion was false?

One more thing, I know many talk about more recent UFOs around about WW2 and after, but sightings and painting or dipictions have been around for thousands of years, and that to me proves it isn't a technological event that's occured from humans.

Thoughts?

Believing in something not in the Bible is not wrong or a conflict. You know who you worship, other forms of life are not Gods.

Thank you for that well thought out response. That makes more sense to me.

It may take a very long time to come to terms with this. It's hard to talk to my wife about this, as I never want to shake her faith. She occasionally watches segment's of programs I watch or videos on the subject. But she doesn't seem to really believe, she said she worries about where I'm at..

On terms of the Bible, the lord said that he created man and animals, while not completely specific, Christ did die for man's sins and to redeem us. So I can't find a connection with that and extra terrestrials or what have you.

I know some say God may have been talking to aliens when he said let us create he, him in our image...but God is a spirit and he's speaking to himself in that reference, in my belief.

Like you said I can't unsee what I believe, as in UFOs and things I've seen from governments. I

But my faith, the same as well. There's more to this whole story and how it all connects.

I'm still not convinced a true Christian could believe in UFOs, extra terrestrials and then Christ being our saviour. But...

Extraterrestrials are simply one of his side projects. There is absolutely no contradiction between believing in both religion and extraterrestrials. While he may not be Christian, Ariel bar tsadok has good articles that explain this philosophy in detail.

Dustin, I've had the same dilemma. My faith has been tested by my experiences as well. For me, I've taken to investigating all man's faiths and legends in hopes of understanding perhaps a bit better the whole story. If we think of God as just our Creator, then we may very well be dealing with an external alien influence. However, if you simply make them our Creator, you have to assume that they were created as well. I like to think of God as being an omnipresent force, like magnetism, that has been here since before anything was physical  or in material form. In this case, these other beings are just more of it's creations. You don't really believe that a being so powerful,as to create the universe and everything in it,just stopped there do you? We like to think we are the pinnacle of creation, but I don't think so.

I hope you can find peace with both. I believe faith is important to our wellbeing. The ability to believe in things beyond our understanding is what makes us truly unique.

It's better to walk alone, than with a crowd going in the wrong direction. H.S.

the way I see it and my experiences as of thus far are this.

Jesus Christ and God the Father really created Everything.  In fact I think he was outside of our "String" (such as in String Theory) and he had our string bump against another string. (Kinda like having two bedsheets flat but vibrating, stood on their ends or sides so that their vertical instead of horizontal. They were kinda like rippling right next to each other, but for unknown reasons currently, Never touching each other. Maybe it was kinda like two magnets repelling eachother, but being stuck in these positions so that they can't just leave.  Anyway, ) And as a drop of pond water teaming with life one String touched, merely one point or tip, like a finger (such as the finger of God) our lifeless string (so our string was kinda like clean distilled water) and deposited life.  Such as the saying, "And God said let there be life!" ( And yes light also)   I know I got too technical but this is what I have believed ever since my brother explained String Theory to me.

As for God existing versus the Extraterrestrials, I am ENTIRELY UNABLE to, say, "Stick God in a box". As for me I FEEL and Believe that Jesus Christ/God the Father, The Great I Am, whatever you want to call it, created the Universe and Extraterrestrials themselves. I believe that he may have also put it in the Extraterrestrials minds to come to Earth and create us/mess with our DNA.   I know for certain that Jesus Christ has influenced the decisions of Extraterrestrials and what not.

I think the problem comes in when you must realize that EVERYTHING has been getting hidden from us, and it's our own Governments, Businesses, Scientific Everythings, Religious Everythings, etc. that are doing it.  THEY are the ones hiding Extraterrestrials and all that they have done and are doing.  I think they know that if we look at the stars we will be free, but if we keep our eyes on the dust we will be forever enslaved, and to who and what, alien, human, demon or all the above and more? Possibly.

Anyway, to cut this off, as for me, I know God created us both Alien and Human; that he controls is both Alien and Human, and that he SHOULD  UNCONDITIONALLY  LOVE Us BOTH, Not one or the other.

For God IS (or Should be according to his Bible) the Great I Am. And if he IS  TRULY That Great, then he definitely created all of existence itself, and that means the planets, space, aliens, and the Earth and Humans (and all on Earth and other planets for that matter) too.

Now, as for God having control over it, and WHY things have gone so TERRIBLY, I have my own personal answer for that too.  I did find a mere blurb in the Bible of course, how God/Jesus said that he would turn his face away from the Earth and see how they made it/got along, with out him.  This I KNOW is the reason why he seems to have NO Control over life on Earth (and possibly this Galaxy too) and even the Aliens, and WHY people and Extraterrestrials seem to do whatever they please.  As for help, well, it is said that if you cry out with all your heart, in truth and earnestness, and even more so with a prayer partner (just some one to pray with you) then he WILL (or at least is Supposed to) answer you.

So yeah, that has been MY PERSONAL Belief for a few years now, and as for ME, THAT is accurate.

But I HOPE this helps you and that it can lead you out of the, I'm sure dark place (or places/moments) you must have been in or are in now/currently.

Lots of Love to You (I Understand),

It's ok to question things but I believe in my core that ET's and God go hand in hand! I don't think global public event will happen anytime soon, society wouldn't cope and the world's government knows this. I've had visitations all my life from ET's and read about others and they do small contact and open people's minds. My ET visitors are my star family and act as guides for me on earth, like angels.

Some people don't want to question their faith because of fear but I think your situation is healthy! You can believe both because they come from the same source.

There is good and bad humans and the same for ET's but most are not what we think. Our world has benefited from ET technology, there is no way we could have gotten this far this quickly without it. But sadly with knowledge comes the misuse.

Basic message here is believe in both. God created all.

I personally dont follow a faith or believe everything in the Bible but I believe in a higher power! I pray and practice gratitude daily.

Make your beliefs your own, there are no rules only the ones we create.

Much love xx

Hi Dustin,

I'd love to share my thoughts with you. The Bible/Christianity and UFOs are some of my favorite topics, and I think and read on these things quite frequently. I had seen a ufo as a young child in the 1970s and was really interested in the phenomenon ever since. I also grew up in a Christian home. I have read several books from both the secular and Christian perspectives on this topic. I have changed my beliefs through the years and I now take a view that is in the minority. But, I do believe that my belief is backed up by the Bible.

I consider the Bible to be the word of God and I believe that most of the answers are found in there. However, I think most people make the Bible say what they want it to say. Some, even most, just innocently misinterpret it, in my opinion.

What caused me to totally change my understanding of alien life from a Bible perspective is by studying exactly what scripture states about heaven, hell, angels, demons, and creation. I put away all preconceived ideas or teachings I previously held and I let the Bible say what it says without adding or subtracting from it.

So, what are my conclusions after studying the ufo/extraterrestrial life question from this method of Bible interpretation?

1). The Bible affirms the existence of Extraterrestrial Life.

2). Created angels, both righteous and evil, are "extraterrestrial" by nature. The word "extraterrestrial" means "above or outside the earth". Created angelic beings are not of or from this earth, which makes them fit the definition of the word extraterrestrial. Angels are not terrestrial, or "of the earth". But they originate from outside the earth, making them "extra"-terrestrial.

3). Angelic beings, also called "heavenly beings", have a physical reality, though  they are different than humans. Read the story of Lot, Abraham and Sodom and Gomorrah. Angels literally eat food and have their feet washed.

4). Heaven, as stated plainly in Genesis, is the air, sky, and space itself. Notice that nowhere in the Bible does it state that heaven is in another dimension, allegedly separate from the physical universe. Genesis 1, in the physical creation story, says that "God called the firmament "heaven". The first three chapters of Genesis always refers to heaven as the air, sky and space, and nothing more.

This is why we read throughout the Bible phrases such as, "the four winds of heaven", the "birds of heaven", the "dew of heaven", the "rain from heaven", the "stars of heaven", etc. These phrases always refer to the physical creation that we live in. Not once does it refer to another dimension in the air, sky or space. But heaven IS the air, or sky, or space itself.

When the Bible speaks of angelic beings, it might use language such as the "armies of heaven", "celestial beings", "principalities and powers in heavenly places", etc. Angels are sometimes referred to as "stars." Therefore I concluded that angelic beings reside in the same physical universe as we do. This is also proven by the fact that angels are frequently described as descending from the sky, and ascending upward when they leave. Even Jesus "ascended" upward into the air in order to return to where he came from.

5). Angels use physical craft. We could rightly call them ufos. The craft are not earthly craft, but come from "out there." Proof? Read in 2 Kings how the prophet Elijah was taken away from this earth in a flying physical craft, called a "chariot" in the Bible. People sent out a search party to look for Elijah, thinking that perhaps he was set down somewhere over the hills, but he was gone into "heaven." I believe Elijah is still in his physical body, as he did appear physically centuries later when he appeared on the Mount of Transfiguration with Moses.

6). Extra-terrestrial life is NOT a "demonic deception", as many Christian authors and teachers claim. However, there is absolutely a connection to evil angels and demonic entities. So there is much to be cautious about in the field of ufos and the topic of ET life that is demonic.

If we read Rev. 12. carefully, the war in heaven (space) is still future. Notice too, that Rev. 12 describes heaven by mentioning the sun, moon and stars. This future war expels all the satanic angels that still reside in the heavens. Until then, we still must "wrestle against principalities and powers in HEAVENLY PLACES." - Ephesians 6:12.

Rev. 12 states that Satan still has access to the third heaven, or God's literal throne. He still "accuses the brethren day and night before God." So Satan can be on earth, in space, and at God's throne. The book of Job proves this too, as Satan and God have face to face interactions in heaven.

There is more that I can point out, but I will leave it at this for now. If you, or anyone else, want to challenge anything I said, feel free. I will only reply with what I think the Bible reveals. I do have some beliefs that I cannot prove from the Bible, but could still be true.

That's great. I appreciate that. Gives a man extra to think of. I believe a lot as you have written .

A few things I can think that counters that might be this.

I personally don't believe angels drive UFOs, or how we see these.

Why would God create anything to drive when thought is what propels them through time and space.

Next what do you make of some UFOs shooting down or at aircraft. Could be demonic but I don't necessarily believe that. God, Satan..etc is all spirit form which takes hold of a host, so to speak. Spirits don't have a physical form.

I'm from the teachings of a mr Marion brahnham, if anyone is familiar. He believed UFOs were angels. But I cannot.

So, if you are a stricter Christian, some could say a southern Baptist type, I only see two ways.

It's either UFOs and extraterrestrial are real, which there's physical and more than enough evidence, or what religion is tought is false.
