I have had heavy thoughts on this for a while. Ive grown up as a Christian, always been around church. As a child I was always fascinated by space, time travel and UFOs.

I've always believed in things unseen.

For several years now I've been researching extraterrestrials, interdimensional beings, UFOs and reading articles to mainstream headlines. Most recently more and more is coming out from governments around the world on admittance of this subject.

I know without a doubt UFOs are real, and some form of ETS.

As a Christian this is a conflict, as I do not believe one can believe in both. If Christ is lord of all, how can a higher being be here on Earth (above Earth), etc.

It seems contradictory. And I can't understand how you can believe in God and aliens. If has to be one or the other and if in fact there came a time when a main event occurred like video evidence or mass witnessed landings and meeting of govt officials or what have you, wouldn't that cement the fact religion was false?

One more thing, I know many talk about more recent UFOs around about WW2 and after, but sightings and painting or dipictions have been around for thousands of years, and that to me proves it isn't a technological event that's occured from humans.

Believing in something not in the Bible is not wrong or a conflict. You know who you worship, other forms of life are not Gods.

Thank you for that well thought out response. That makes more sense to me.

It may take a very long time to come to terms with this. It's hard to talk to my wife about this, as I never want to shake her faith. She occasionally watches segment's of programs I watch or videos on the subject. But she doesn't seem to really believe, she said she worries about where I'm at..

On terms of the Bible, the lord said that he created man and animals, while not completely specific, Christ did die for man's sins and to redeem us. So I can't find a connection with that and extra terrestrials or what have you.

I know some say God may have been talking to aliens when he said let us create he, him in our image...but God is a spirit and he's speaking to himself in that reference, in my belief.

Like you said I can't unsee what I believe, as in UFOs and things I've seen from governments. I

But my faith, the same as well. There's more to this whole story and how it all connects.

I'm still not convinced a true Christian could believe in UFOs, extra terrestrials and then Christ being our saviour. But...

Dustin, I've had the same dilemma. My faith has been tested by my experiences as well. For me, I've taken to investigating all man's faiths and legends in hopes of understanding perhaps a bit better the whole story. If we think of God as just our Creator, then we may very well be dealing with an external alien influence. However, if you simply make them our Creator, you have to assume that they were created as well. I like to think of God as being an omnipresent force, like magnetism, that has been here since before anything was physical  or in material form. In this case, these other beings are just more of it's creations. You don't really believe that a being so powerful,as to create the universe and everything in it,just stopped there do you? We like to think we are the pinnacle of creation, but I don't think so.

I hope you can find peace with both. I believe faith is important to our wellbeing. The ability to believe in things beyond our understanding is what makes us truly unique.

It's better to walk alone, than with a crowd going in the wrong direction. H.S.
