I absolutely disagree.

He experienced great pain for a very short time and he knew he would be fine after. Isn't that how the story goes? Was he God or not? Is your God omniscient or not?

Christianity doesn't make sense. Since you feel you need it for whatever reasons, you can ignore and gloss over how nonsensical it really is and delude yourself.

It's easier than dealing with reality.

I made my case. Take it or leave it.

I have no expectations to the contrary.

I guess, by following that line of thinking, the only one that can sacrifice themself is an atheist. Laugh

Too vague. Explain it in greater detail. Explain this idea of God taking on sin, and how a God can penalize Himself with separation from Himself.

How does that "taking-on" of sin work, exactly? How is sin then dispersed or covered or whatever happens to it after? How does that work? Explain clearly what God did and how.

I would, at least to the best of my ability, if I knew you cared. But I know you don't, therefore, if you are really interested, read it for yourself. It is written so even you can understand if you feel so inclined. It is finished.

What does that even mean? I cared enough to read your posts and to ask. You don't have to answer, of course. You can answer and I will read the answer, and yes, I will probably still disagree and have more questions and opinions.

I think Qmark is Crystal Clear what he means, and trust me, none of your input on the board over the last few days has been unnoticed.

It is finished - means my participation in this thread has come to a conclusion. I have said everything I wanted to say.
