Maybe this will help.

I believe that reading and understanding the bible is the first step, to a relationship with God.It's the beginning, not the end.

The bible can tell us what other people have experienced in their lives that they interpreted as God. But our own relationship with God will not be the same.

Each of us is on our own path of discovery, that's why there are so many religions. Again this is just my belief. To limit ones understanding of God to one very strict set of beliefs, seems ,I don't know, ignorant.

Old Man and the Great Spirit

There was once a Great Spirit who was good. He made a man and a woman. Then Old Man came along. No one made Old Man. He always existed.

The Great Spirit said to him, "Old Man, have you any power?"

"Yes," said Old Man, "I am very strong."

"Well," said the Great Spirit, "suppose you make some mountains."

So Old Man set to work and made the Sweet-Grass Hills. To do this he took a piece of Chief Mountain. He brought Chief Mountain up to its present location, shaped it up, and named it. The other mountains were called blood colts.

"Well," said the Great Spirit, "you are strong."

"Now," said Old Man, "there are four of us: the man and woman, you and I."

The Great Spirit said, "All right."

The Great Spirit said, "I will make a big cross for you to carry."

Old Man said "No, you make another man so that he can carry it."

The Great Spirit made another man. Old Man carried the cross a while, but soon got tired and wanted to go. The Great Spirit told him that he could go, but he should go out among the people and the animals, and teach them how to live, etc.

Now the other man got tired of carrying, the cross. He was a white man. The Great Spirit sent him off as a traveler. So he wandered on alone.

The man and woman who had been created wandered off down towards Mexico, where they tried to build a mountain in order to get to the sky to be with their children. But the people got mixed up until they came to have many different languages.

Some strange coincidences, that I have found while investigating and reading other creation stories.

A friend of mine is Blackfoot and we looked his tribes creation legend up. Oddly enough,a white man shows up there in Mexico to.Viracocha. The creator deity of Mesoamerica.

I believe, the story is more amazing than we've been made to believe.

I think you're missing my point. Was the church responsible for putting the bible together or not? Clearly yes. Right there, you have my  point.A book didn't magically appear from heaven. Full and intact. It is a collection of stories by man to explain God.

All you've done here is show how much faith you have in the church, and the people making those decisions.

The church is responsible for the book, you are responsible for your soul.

You are correct, the (compromised) church was responsible for what books were included in the biblical cannons, and I am responsible for my relationship with God.

And if something is compromised, what reason would I have to put any faith in it?

bobdrake,

That's a question only you can answer for yourself. For me, I'm still working things out. I won't pretend to have a complete grasp on anything I've said here, I think that's a big part of having faith.

But the more I open up my beliefs, the more amazing, God becomes. Every culture and religion, in my opinion, has a small part of the grand picture.

We've all of us, been touched by the divine, our souls are the proof.

Here's something I've been looking in to.

Throughout history, we have similar descriptions of events and people.

I think many are the same people under different names.

Thoth,Enoch, the Old Man, Varicocha, all of them and maybe more, in my opinion, are one man.

I think the Chinese fear the thought of a white man being the first person in China, and covered all the pyramids there.

Even the Greek Gods are mirrored by the Norse mythology, to the point Apollo, is known to both.

I think a race, of white beings, that Judas names in the Gospel, were the same beings that took Enoch, and taught him everything he needed to know to build the pyramids. I also believe, that's why the two were excluded from the bible. However if I'm right, they sent Jesus to earth.

This is purely on a historic level mind you.

I'm heading to Algonquin park in search of more pyramids here in Canada. As the Algonquin natives have an eerily similar legend of nine pyramids built over an underground river.

My hypothesis so far, is that the greek Gods may be real. Not Gods but real beings. Between us and God. They helped Enoch, lived at Atlantis, were the people off the coast of Ireland of higher intelligence Apollo would visit.

My point is this, they were very intent on having man, build these pyramids. Why?

I think the answer was given by Thoth. His masters with their great sciences made the enemy among us visible and the lizards were driven out.

If the Gods worshiped, were just real beings, then so was their enemy.

I think we need to turn on the pyramids and a field, set at a certain frequency will make our enemy visible. Satan also has a great accomplishment, making us believe he didn't exist. Could that be, turning off the pyramids?

What was in the arch of the covenant really? The power source? Is that why the Jewish people were persecuted? For turning off the pyramids, and allowing our enemy to blend back in?

Lol, please remember this is my hypothesis. Something I'm investigating. Im not making statements. Asking a hypothetical question .

This is where my hypothesis, messed with my beliefs lol

Let's say I'm right, who was it that the Jews followed? And who told them to steal it? Oh my, I hear the hate, as I think it. But there it is. I can't escape it.Something that used a craft with three lights?

Is the bible ,the jews attempt to justify shutting down the pyramids?

And even worse, were the Jews the first deceived, by "satan" into doing so?

Has "satan "actually used the bible to spread it's lie?Have we all been fooled into worshipping a false idol? Was Jesus killed, because was really here to help us, as a "demi god" but really just a human hybrid of them? It's so feasible its scary.

I believe"satan"can walk among us as long as the pyramids remain off.

Jamie,

The TAO teaches the Tian Ming is a special soul that Heaven sends to my Ling Gong (my soul), to guide me my whole life.  The Tian Ming and Ling Gong are located in the heart area.

Unfortunately, there are many who have been corrupted.  Therefore, they have no interest in communicating with their Tian Ming.

I'm not familiar with the beliefs of Tao as of yet, I'm still working my way there 🙂

I can say I am very interested in the healing arts. Energy transference and control. So the asian beliefs are soon. There is definitely a major part of the story there.

As for those not interested in seeking knowledge of themselves,I can't say.
