I've been trying to find just where the deception happened and how big or small it was.

I've come to believe that Moses, may be the victim.

I believe that God had his plan in motion to free the Jewish people. But Moses was a conflicted person, and often thought he knew better than God. As demonstrated with the striking of the stone. Why did it work anyway?? Someone else told him it would.

I believe that Moses was deceived into taking the power source, convinced they needed it to defend themselves.

God still did everything to free them in this case, but had to punish Moses for his lack of faith.

This is why, he was not allowed into the promised land.

Any thoughts?

The more I look, the more it makes sense. The sons of Moses that were priests in charge of the arch. Was that punishment, and not privilege?

If im right, the power source would be deadly to be around. So ,who better than the person who took it, and his line, for that? A kind of a,"you brought it, you deal with it" thing.

Also remember, if im right,  the field is down now, the ability to see the reptilian race is gone. They could have been with the people, the entire journey.

Any time the arch did anything, even the speaking to the people, or the image of God, could be explained by their presence.

Everything stolen, and brought with them, all unneeded tools for God.

Satan piggybacked Gods plan to do good, with a bigger plan to do evil.

Wrote the following before reading the previous posts & just noticed that Jamie beat me to it.
For what it's worth ......

Back in OT times, the masses were uneducated, superstitious peasants & easily impressed. Those they called 'Gods' were just space travelers.
It wasn't that long ago that isolated tribes in Papua New Guinea thought that white men were Gods because they flew in the sky in little Cessnas & could produce flame from a match or lighter.
Technologically we're at the point where those with the money could quite easily fool the masses with holograms in the sky or perform inexplicable feats e.g.
Imagine what the worlds best illusionists could do with unlimited money & with todays technology?

'God' has not appeared before us in the past so I doubt that He/She will ever do so.
The Mystics of Old advised to 'Look within' for the answers to God, life & the Universe.

If it was important to Deity for us to acknowledge His/Her existence, then everyone of us would have been shown proof one way or the other.
Religion is the cause of so much fear that it's psychologically healthier to be Atheist than to believe in an angry, vain psychopathic God as portrayed by religion.

Thank you for the post. I agree, that the beings, being seen are not Gods. But to suggest there is no God, seems closed minded to me.

These beings are clearly created. We all were. It,has to start somewhere.

The answer as to who or what God is, may be unanswerable to us, thats where faith begins.

It was never my intention to belittle religion. Only to point out a major problem.:-)

Where did I "suggest there is no God"?

I thought it would be rather obvious that I think there is from what I wrote.

The 'major problem' with religion is that it was thought up by men to gain control over others.

That may be where it ended, but im sure it started as a way to explain the unexplainable, to the masses.

Man will always,be responsible for governing itself, religion,or government, you choose. Either ends in tyranny.  Or do you think with religion gone, somehow the world will learn to get along? Like, skin color, sex, age,and countless more stupid reasons to fight, won't be found?

A people with no faith is easy to control.

I say in the words of shepherd Book" I don't care what you believe, just believe it!":-)  Long live the Brown Coats! 🙂

It depends on the society, on how educated & evolved they are. Religion is a positive thing in some cultures. The Pacific Islands comes to mind. It would be a lawless shit-holy without religion.
It's a negative in others. Iran & Pakistan are two examples. (Hopefully Imran Khan will be able to introduce some sanity in Pakistan now that he's the PM)

Regardless, there will always be conflict where there's an uneven distribution of wealth & resources.
And some cultures just do not mix. Like Islam for e.g. (but I'm not allowed to explain why here)

To me,it sounds like a bit of a hate on for certain people or cultures.

I will not participate in any hate arguements. I have no agenda here, but knowledge.

If believing,we are all equal, makes me a flower petal, You're damn right!

Take your hate ,and live with it. But people like you don't impress me. You have nothing to contribute to an open minded conversation. Good riddance.
