Um, wrong. Again.
Greek Orthodox. Its Eastern Orthodox Christianity with a twist of lemon.

I hate to say it but you have pretty much just thrown any credibility out the window with your last statement. Come back when you have an argument instead of straightforward disgust. Educate yourself on what you disagree with before you post again.

I don't see why the unjustifiable actions of religious extremists should necessitate the eradication of faith in general. The fanatical minority should not be allowed to condemn the moderate majority. This is a wider issue because this kind of human behaviour is found in other areas besides religion. Should all sports fans be banned from supporting their teams just because some fanatical hooligans like to cause chaos? Should the entire financial system be discarded just because some greedy corporate directors cause chaos to the global economy? You might not like sport, you might be anti-capitalist, or you might not believe in God, but you can't deny the rights of others to their beliefs. It's fanaticism that needs eradicating, not faith, and replaced by tolerance.

Yeah but you don't see fans of one team going out and trying to kill fans of the other team. Although I wouldn't shed a tear if some Atlanta Falcon and Chicago Bears fans were run over by the New Orleans Saints team bus. Laugh

Anyway, other than rival drug gangs/cartels, you really don't see this kind of murderous brutality in other parts of society, so your analogy is moot.

The teaching of a better life beyond this life puts a lesser value on human life. Teaching our young ones to revolve their entire lives around a fairy tale that says Earthly life is substandard and to hope for something better pretty much stales their existence here. Much more value needs to be put on Earthly life, and it starts with getting rid of religion, then maybe one day we won't see people killing themselves and other people to go to a place that doesn't exist.

Look man, you said you "believe in Jesus Christ and the Church He founded." To me that sounded like the "Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints," which is Mormon. Next time try not to be vague.

Of religion you know nothing but your vitriol. You've never coordinated cognizances of philosophical conclusions from the secular knowledge base in contrast of religious dogma to even know which is good or worthless. That 's just so obvious with you. Know more about what your bashing...your ignorance proceeds you. A blanket statement about anything is the least wise manner of thinking any can do.

....O.K.? You may now continue pissing....and moaning....

I don't know how on Earth your warped perceptions arrive at these conclusions and I don't care. You think you're smart with these silly run-on sentences, using fancy words, and all you sound like is some babbling nutjob. Your opinions mean about as much to me as a maggot taking a dump on a cow patty.

Here's a tip: If you really didn't care, you wouldn't respond. Hope that helps.

Great, another wise guy. Well, actually, if I didn't tell him I didn't care then he wouldn't know I didn't care. And I wanted him to know it. And besides, it's fun to poke sticks at people who get run over by the short bus. Laugh

But thanks for the copper anyway. You know what they say, "a penny saved is a penny earned."
