There was a time when there wasn't enough nothin' to give a white person to be Black. Now we have white folks blackfacing and not being apologetic about it until after the fact. They knew they were offensive when they did that sh-t. And now we should accept this faux pas in the name of comedy? All I can say is, "Do you see me laughing MF?" And Mr. Kimmel's apology was such that it was not an apology at all as if he is the one who is being disparaged and victimized in his career.
But this is not the end of it. I have noticed that this behavior is going on all the over the place. White people have eyeglasses now that they wear that elongates the eyes and makes them look like oriental. And of course they gesture and speak the part. Their role is not one of comedy but of serious business in all kinds of fields. I have seen this in tv commercials and discussion groups like new technology. I have also seen white people in top media shows donning this blackface makeup and pretending that they are Black talking in these forums. This is not something we want to see. The possibilities of where this could go are endless and could be very detrimental to our people. This makeup they are using is amazing. Next thing you know the blackfacers will be out in the crowds of protestors casting a bad, light of violence upon us. Be careful who you associate with and listen to. I've been Black all my life and they almost fooled me. There is one guy that I saw on YouTube that is trying to become a Black leader in these times of trouble trying to unite us for war.

You make some valid points. Since the days of Dr. King and Malcolm X there has been an increase in racial tolerance. The big question that has to be asked, has their been an increase in economic tolerance?
The actions of White people are based on what they see and hear by the white controlled mainstream media. Here are the examples. The Black dominated pro sports (except golf and ice hockey) these professionals command lucrative contracts. Barack Obama being the first Black president. Since Blacks are about 13% of the population if all the Blacks voted for Obama he wouldn't have been elected president. There had to be a substantial amount of White people who had to vote for Obama in order for him to become President. Interracial relationships have been accepted as the norm. In the past this wasn't the case. Some Black comedians use the N-Word as if it is no big deal. Taken in its totality in the mind of the average White person racism is a thing of the past.
When the average young White person sees all this they say to themselves that racial prejudice no longer exists. They say to themselves why can't I dress in Blackface and use the N-word like other Black folks do. Black folks can't expect to have the best of both worlds. To live in a fully integrated society with Whites and not expect them to use racial epithets that Blacks use without being punished. To expect Whites to give up certain symbols that may extol the virtues of White society can be considered unreasonable to a certain degree. Remember during the Ferguson Missouri riots we had a Black President and a Black Attorney General in office and this didn't seem to make much of a difference.
In conclusion there will always be periodic times of racial dissension in this country because of the economic inequality that still exists.

Remember back during the George Floyd protest. Every now and then you would see large groups of white folks just stopping the marching and simultaneously start dancing coordinate dance there in the street.
I don't believe this is some kind of trend. I believe the white people are preparing themselves to become us. Consider this new way of dancing like African. And I have seen a great many of these videos featuring BLM protestors dressed in all black clothing looting and burning and destroying property along the protestor path. In one of those videos one young Black woman pleaded for these false sympathizers to stop their behavior that the media was going to broadcast that Black people did the damage. The then white ring leader of this pack said, "Why should we stop, they gonna kill y'all anyway." When I heard it, my blood ran cold. I knew he was not speaking metaphorically but factually.
I have also seen several videos of actually covid-19 testing being given to white people that were play acting and not real . I believe these people are going to be exempt from the test and the vaccine which will only be forced upon people of color. The vaccine will contain some type of poison causing us to debilitate and die or perhaps kill us on the spot. The authorities mean to deliver the vaccine swiftly and all at once before anyone can get the word out that people are dying. I believe with all my heart that they mean to kill us all and take our place.

Please tell me what a average white person means?
It means the kind of person who would be found in an Average White Band.
@ Never Named:
I'm looking forward to discussing politics and ideas to improve the world with you, but all these racial topics do nothing for me. No matter what you and most black people might think nowadays, the vast majority of white people don't care about race or think about race any more than they care or think about sexual orientation. They just don't care. They're for equality for everyone, just as you and I are, and they have their own lives to live without complicating it by holding special grudges against certain groups just because granddaddy used to. Those two topics are very old hat by now and were resolved long ago in most people's opinions, other than for a few rare holdouts, so those topics aren't likely to stimulate good, useful discussions here, in my opinion.

There is a reason why most Black people feel like we do and it is because of the way we are treated every day of our lives. I'm sorry that you dismiss the fact that there is systemic racism in this country and around the world. But it is this kind of lacks outlook that perpetuates the notion that just because it hasn't made it's way into your neighborhood, that it doesn't exist. The statistics bare out the disparity between the races in class, health care, education, recognition, etc. I could quote you a hundred different experiences I myself have had in my life, many of which have hindered my growth as a successful, well-balanced individual in this world, but I'm pretty sure you would say it is accidental and doesn't happen to everyone this way. You are walking around with rose colored glasses and I will bet that even when you see a blatant form of racism, much less a subtle one that you ignore it and continue on with living your life. How dare you suggest that all the complaints and problems are only thoughts that Black people have and not real issues.
This topic was introduced by me to inform my own people (I don't know if you are one or not) that yet another very serious issue of blatant racism is arising and we should be wary and prepared to deal with it. There is nothing you can say that will convince me that "most" white people don't care very much about race and sexual orientation. I witness it every day in every genre. You should go back to living your life and leave what you believe is imaginary racism to those of us who have enough fortitude to grab the bull and rip the horns off it.

Quote: the vast majority of white people don't care about race or think about race any more than they care or think about sexual orientation. I think what Guy is saying is people don’t live with Ill feeling to other races or sexual orientation anymore because these things are accepted now. Not that we all don’t care about racism issues its that we live in accepted diversified society now. We live and work in areas now that are a mixture of cultures and people. that is pretty much embraced by most people. So it’s not that we do not care, we not care there a black family, or gay couple, or middle easterner, a Mexican, or mixed marriage, or not married, or transsexual next door. We all work with other races and religions and nobody thinks a thing about it.

Talk is cheap. I hear this kind of rhetoric every day on the news. But I see a different picture in the tv shows, movies, at the grocery store, between Black schools and white schools, in the jobs markets et al. There is a big picture video above that says somebody is thinking about it and willing to post it all over the media for billions of people to see. I will pass along what you have said here the very next time I show up for my first day of work and somebody that doesn't look me asks me, "So, how'd you get this job?"

You like to tell people off a lot in your rants. What can I say, obviously nothing that satisfies you. That was the way I perceived Guys opinion. Sorry if you think what I said was just cheap talk, maybe thinking the world is all racist is what’s imaginary. My world isn’t racism, my work world wasn’t, and my kids were raised respecting all cultures. Are there racists and bad people? Yes!, and we have some bad cops, but most people and most cops are good people. What else can I say!
