Hi everyone,

First post so just wanted to introduce myself.  Dave from the UK here and not much of a conspiracy theorist but I love looking at documents and doing research.  Space and the JFK assassination is my 'expertise' (not UFO's sorry).  Mostly the US space programs, but I'll open up any document and start reading.

Wanted to thank John for all his work on the site and the FOIA requests.  Got an idea for a FOIA request for him but not sure if this is the right place to suggest it.  Anyway, hope your all ok and glad to be here.

Welcome to the site, and thank you for your kind words!

I am always open to FOIA request ideas -- let me know what you are thinking 🙂

Hi John,

Thanks for the reply and welcome, and sorry for the late reply back.

As I said in my original post, I'm more into the space and the human exploration side.  I noticed while looking through the Space section that there isn't any article or mention of the Apollo 1 fire on January 27, 1967.  At least none that I could find.  Apollo 1 was also known as AS-204.

I've actually done a fair bit of research on Apollo 1.  I have 30 minutes of the audio on a video I made and put up on YouTube.  As I mentioned before, I'm not much of a theorist and I don't think there is anything sinister about the accident.  It was just a tragic accident in my opinion.  I have a number of documents which can easily be found online, including the report.

I just wanted to know if you had made any FOIA requests regarding Apollo 1, and if not would it be something that interests you?  AFAIK, all the documents are kept at Langley Research, along with the actual Command Module.  They may have been moved since I last checked though.

Just wanted your thoughts on it Smile.

Thanks again,
