Einstein’s brain was unusual in several respects, rarely seen photos show

By Michael Balter

Albert Einstein is widely regarded as a genius, but how did he get that way? Many researchers have assumed that it took a very special brain to come up with the theory of relativity and other insights that form the foundation of modern physics.

A study of 14 newly discovered photographs of Einstein’s brain, which was preserved for study after his death, concludes that the brain was indeed highly unusual in many ways. But researchers still don’t know exactly how the brain’s extra folds and convolutions translated into Einstein’s amazing abilities.

I read an article a week or so ago on this, very interesting. I'd always wondered if there were differences in the brain of people like Einstein or if they used theirs in ways we do not.

What is this Wonka, some kind of funhouse?
Why? Are you having fun?
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men.

Fascinating... So cool to know that he had physical differences. "Exceptionally complicated convolutions".

Yeah ... it was so unusual that it took a "special genius" to look into the patents archives and find an endless resource of scientific theory and when that pootered out there were young and "other" theories to become attached to (much like an autistic is to a checkered floor) 😛

Oh, I hate those! I swore off Tretis years ago, I'd be stuck playing all day and then spend my waking hours trying to fit everything I saw together. I hope the inventor of that game spends several eternities in Autism hell. 😈
