Clusterfuck: Military term for a situation caused by too many inept officers, cluster referring to the insignia worn by majors and LT. Colonels, oak leaf clusters.
Clusterfuck #1.Trump Administration Asks Supreme Court to Invalidate Affordable Care Act: Challenge to health-care law comes as pandemic’s economic impact drives millions to lose jobs and coverage. The United States is in the middle of a "supposedly" pandemic and the political parties want to repeal the Affordable Healthcare Act. So much for caring for the people.
Clusterfuck #2. The real problem with this pandemic is nobody really understands "human nature" and science & technology. A quote from the late Carl Sagan. "We live in a society exquisitely dependent on science and technology, in which hardly anyone knows anything about science and technology." With the emergence of the semiconductor revolution this seems to have promoted a legion of misguided individuals who feel human behavior can be "digitized." They totally failed to realize that what was needed during this pandemic was "education not medication" to stay healthy.
We humans need to socialize with each other to maintain some degree of sanity in this "lousy world." When two people meet each other and start to develop a meaningful relationship what is exchanged is not only warm emotional feelings but microbes which includes bacteria as well as viruses. It is impossible to prevent the exchange of microbes between humans who desire to express affection for one another. It would be a truly sad world if we banned kissing or hugging, this is an essential part of being a human.
Doctors in the past have repeatedly made it clear, it is a good thing for young children to grab a handful of dirt and put it into their mouths. I am not staying that young children should have a steady diet of dirt but an occasional mouthful of dirt is not a bad thing. They need the microbes to develop a healthy immune system (gut biome).
It is really unfortunate that the medical profession is run by "automatons" such as the likes of Dr. Anthony Fauci. This makes one wonder if Dr. Fauci is an alien in human disguise. The medical profession as it currently exists functions on a type of cognitive dissonance which subscribes to the notion that "good health makes a lot of sense but it does not make a lot of dollars."
