Remember remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason
Should ever be forgot...

Though the article eventually boils down to pro-Vedic evangelism, the arguments against Darwin's theory--and the subsequent theory of Punctuated Equlibrium--are fact-based and sound.

I would like to formally request that this thread be moved to the spirituality forum where the scientific-minded skeptics and Atheists can have their turn at shooting down the points made by this article.

Plus, if I'm lucky, it will draw The Joker into that forum, which would be delightful, especially if he sticks around.

And by the way the thread title (and article title) is a little misleading... especially when the article itself readily admits that we just don't "know" for sure. In order for Darwin's theory to actually be debunked, there would have to be positive, irrefutable evidence to the contrary--whereas what we have is Darwin leaving a lot of loose ends vis à vis missing supportive evidence.

I mean, if a belief or theory is debunked simply because there is some key evidence missing, then I guess all spiritual beliefs--the Vedic belief system included--are debunked as well.

I believe in Darwin. I also believe in Intelligent Design.
i do not understand how people can feel they cannot be concurrent

Why? Are you having fun?

somewhat agree bionic . the end result. for example :
art- I have this 'old soul' friend who said one night. think of it this
way. you have a wonderful painting and the artist is gone missing.
does that refute the art ?

Jackson pollock artist. does an painting . almost, if by Random ,
yet the result is an impression of ' controlled chaos .'
depth, beauty, form, and function(movement) is seen.
its looked at by the experts. and they see .
algorithm and fractal design. does that help ?

wish I was as psychic as you and your lot

maybe , I am psychic in a different way?
we all have our, "gifts"

yah know?

there is a higher order, and a reason for everything

I must believe in that

you are special . a person could be nothing today. but think about
the genetic history each of us carries around. millions of years of RNA /
DNA replication...( the irony of war is not only today's loss. but , tomarrows future.)

(think of the our sociological and technological potential/ progress, we artificially remove from the environment, rather violently. )

not sure what you mean by psychic. don't confuse situational awareness,
and luck with ? yes. gifts. but they too can be forsaken , squandered away.
sounds like your in a battle.

if its any help. remember this. no matter how
bad anybody on this board ( jinn) try to mind fu-- y-- on this forum.
they only see what you allow them to see. they can never steal your soul.
non of these people are real to me. it's the Internet. at best , make believe
friends. for you . real. and that's ok.

me , I'm looking forward to being reborn. maybe cruise for burgers( garden salads) on the astral plane. where the physical soul takes flight.

Erm, you do know there is no arbitrary "mid-evolved" species, right?

There is no "primary" species, you could view all species as mid-evolved. In the future we may have something a horse evolves from, and we will say that the horse is the midway point between this future species and Mesohippus.

I think Darwin got some things right but his explanation falls short of the complete answer. You have to admit that how life came to be is quite a mystery. First there were particles, then matter, then dust, then stars and planets, then water and carbon compounds, then microbes, then plants, then animals. Life is sustainable on our planet because it is in balance. The Earth created plants to shield her nakedness. The plants produced too much oxygen so they created animals to convert the oxygen into CO2 which the plants need. Nice, almost like someone planned it that way.

I reject the idea that life is inevitable and no more mysterious than chance. The real mystery is why it is all temporary. I guess God gets bored.

Sorry I didn't get to this sooner. If it's cool with Joker I'll get it done.

War is an extension of economics and diplomacy through other means.

Economics and diplomacy are methods of securing resources used by humans.

Securing resources is the one necessary behavior for all living things.

War = Life
