..on Mars

Willie Wonka quotes..
What is this Wonka, some kind of funhouse?
Why? Are you having fun?
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men.
We are the music makers, we are the dreamers of dreams

Curiosity... pretty ominous name for anything, given what it did to cats.

Pretty cool though that we got robot slaves on Mars checking it out for us. We might have to move there after we suck this planet dry.

I agree, at1 should be banished for being a Debbie Downer :naughty:

We're all going to cease to be once our Sun burns out anyway, what's the point ūüėź

I guess I seem to have altered the spirit of this thread into something negative.

Let's turn that frown into a smile, shall we?

I think Curiosity is the greatest human accomplishment in all of history. I mean...c'mon: MARS? That's pretty fricken far. I hear it took 8 months just to get there (and you can thank Calculus for an accurate flight path). The previous greatest accomplishment of the human race was the Q-tip and this landing trumps that 1000 times over. I mean, I CAN NOT give higher praise to Curiosity. This is NASA's wet dream! The NASA employees can now say: I'll let you drive the robot slave for a little while, to the chicks at the bar. SCORE!

More robots, more dead worlds. The future is meaningless. ūüôĀ

He Who Sleeps

[Lyrics - Tucker, Music - Tucker]

Awaken my brothers,
of vengeance we rise
to devulge this enemy,
to enlighten the ones who sleep

Worlds have passed and so too has time
my slumber now disturbed,
this place of hate, thy worlds shall burn

Humans, I shall feast upon your ignorance.
you will destroy yourselves
Mortals, your slithering existence
sickens the gods, my brothers
it awoke me, from timeless sleep
my dreams destroyed, my visions lost
and so I watch you pray,
and spite your words

"Forgive me father?"
I am not your god
you crawl to me, and beg to me my sheep,
you have fallen, curse your empty lives
blind, like wolves you turn on yourselves
