Apparently it's a group of investors lead by one Bill Burke, founder of the LA Marathon. Dunno much about him currently, gonna work on digging about him.

I don't know about anyone NOT from SoCal, but I don't know how I would feel if that happened. On one hand, my team is the Angels, but on the other the Dodgers are still part of my "SoCal Pride!" shtick. I need to do some soul-searching or something to figure out just how I'm supposed to react, I guess.

Edit: Huh... the Mariners are already owned by Nintendo. Didn't know that.

War is an extension of economics and diplomacy through other means.

Economics and diplomacy are methods of securing resources used by humans.

Securing resources is the one necessary behavior for all living things.

War = Life

I'm not much of a sports person but I think this is positively disgusting to read. I am from Los Angeles, and I grew up in Buffalo, in the 50's when Baseball ment the Brooklyn Dodgers and the New York Yankees. The Indy 500 Was not the Toyota Indy 500. Budweiser beer was not owne my Germans, the wide track cars with big motor were all build in Detroit or only American cities. And the National Parks were not under the United Nations.

What the heck(F) is wrong with this country?????? We are selling off America, or just giving it away. We farm out our jobs to other countries, and some of our factories, moved into Mexican border towns for cheap labor. We bail out the banks for Billions of dollars, our credit rating has been dropped, and we owe China Trillions. Now it is Chinese business group who wants to buy the LA Dodgers, which is a symbol of America. EVen our last Govorner contracted a bridge section to be made in China and shipped here, with our tax dollars. What a slap in the face.

Better get smart USA and write everyone in California telling them if the Dodgers goto the Chinese, you will boycott them in the Stadium and every TV coverage. They can stick baseball where the sun doesn't shine if they let it go to Non American buyers.
