Why not? If former Georgian President asks for work visa at least passport and visa services have to know where he is. And now this dead political corpse is considered a white-hot wanted by Interpol. No problem then. Go there and find fault with his documents and detain him! Officially he is an international criminal now.

Georgia is one of devoted American partners. It would be fine gesture to deliver them this criminal dictator. America is a free country. Supporting bloody tyrants isn't our outstanding feature, is it? Why then USA continues having this international criminal in its keeping? He is non-tolerant. He is extremely greedy. He is unsympathetic. He is of no use for he is politically dead. I would never believe that discrediting yourself gives such delight.
Thus what's problem with criminal extradition of Saakashvili?
