You have to watch this video of an interview of a 1956 drafted solder, who by chance was assigned to atomic bomb tests. Just a simple man, who was drafted in the 1950's who served his country, like all young men of those days did. How we could have told these young men the least of the worries was radiation, in 1956, and subjected them to ground zero testing was just ignorant. This person will touch you just hearing him, and glad to do it again for his country. I've said it 1000 times on this board to all the young men here, to kiss the ground that you had not had to live knowing you would be drafted, or that you had to do a military obligation to your country. Bringing back the draft could be only a swipe of the pen if needed so be very thankful to anyone who has volunteered to enlist.
