How a concussion might increase the risk of suicide remains poorly understood.
Could this be another instance of how correlation is not necessarily causation? Perhaps more time in war zones alone would correlate with suicidal tendencies. I can see how length of time in war zones might be a hidden variable in the number of concussions one has sustained.
