We all lost a little friend yesterday in our family. My daughter adopted a snow white kitty a long time ago, when she lived in Las Vegas. Orion was in need of a family and so they found each other. Orion was an indoor only kitty, who had been declawed by its previous owner, and ended up unwanted, in a shelter. It was love at first sight, and she made him wanted, and became her best friend, from the first day. Orion had his playmates over the years, several ferrets who loved to chase and play with Orion, and a baby sister, a Himalayan kitty, who probably is missing him now. Orion had 2 big brothers, both Labrador dogs, who loved to play with Orion too. Orion loved everyone, and when ever we would visit, he would make himself at home next to you on the sofa, and if we spent the night would curl up with you. Orion became best buddies with my son in law, and was a favorite playmate with our granddaughter. Orion didn't have a mean bone in him. But that is what happens when we love and take care of our pets.
Orion live to be about 17-18, and had a wonderful life, my daughter never let him down. We all will miss Orion, he really was special for all of us, but especially for John's sister, who gave him love and a home the rest of his life.

Sounds like a fine beast indeed, may he rest well.
