Did you see the video of the twister that took a swath through Tuscaloosa Alabama? Very wicked.
The local Army Corps of Engineers is close to blowing a 2 mile wide hole in a levee south of Cairo Illinois in an effort to save the Historic town from being washed away---never mind the 200,000 acres of fertile farmland behind the levee, land used to grow crops for US Citizens and farmed by some 100 generation to generation families--
The state of Missouri has been blocked from appeal by the US Supreme court--so soon--( unless the rain stops ) it's bombs away!

it's just awful..and people..Japan is still all f'd..the Middle East is still all fighting all over the place..oil from the oil spill is still killing dolphins (add the radioactive water dumped from Japan into the ocean..there's a strange brew..ugh)Then the horrible tornadoes, after the horrible winter
Now Bin Laden dead..next Ghadafi??
I am getting nervous to wake up the next day and find out what next??
It's insane..one can't keep up with it all
big event, after big event, after big event
Terrence Mckenna is coming to mind, all of a sudden
Willie Wonka quotes..
What is this Wonka, some kind of funhouse?
Why? Are you having fun?
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men.

Well one good thing has come from all of this ( activity ) my wife has finally opened her eyes---One this weather pattern that we are stuck in, ISN'T NORMAL---And over the past few days has become very obvious---every night it rains like all hell--last night the very worst--then during the day---a brief respite if you will---yes right now another round is moving in--right on schedule. This is going on 12 of the past 14 or so days---10-20 inches or rain all over the general area--
The Tornadoes are easy to explain---those are actual rare outbreaks--I lived through the last monster in 1974--one I'll never forget---it happens after a very long cold winter as the air aloft is still very cold for this time of year, even over some of the south---once the surface air warms it rises and meets the colder air above--with enough moisture and the right wind sheer all hell can break loose---that's what happened. It's this f,ing rain---that is the real problem---surely people know that it can be modified--China did it for the Olympics for Christs sake-- So----WTF is causing this unreal persistent down pouring ---I'm all ears.
Obviously hundreds of people lost their lives in that monster twister, this flooding will have impacts far and above that damage---the economic impact alone will devastate many communities in many states before it's all said and done--
It'll take two full weeks of dry weather to set things straight---at least two weeks.
My backyard is on a 30 degree or so slope--right now water is standing in spots. It's a relentless onslaught of nonstop rain and the water has nowhere to go-
Southern Illinois all along the Wabash and the Ohio will never be the same, no way--just too much water, too much Farm Chemicals, debris, you name it---the things most people never think about, don't give a damn about until it affects them.
Looters in Alabama and after their great Governor said " WE CAN'T CONTROL THE WEATHER BUT WE CAN CONTROL WHAT HAPPENS AFTER " ---LOL What a bullshit line of crap!
W e had that in a mild fashion after that wind event, only everyone within walking distance out here is armed and none are afraid to take care of business. It's a shame--used to be the first thing you grabbed when the power went out was a flashlight, now it's my Glock.
What a people we've become--only in America!
