Hello,

I was thinking about making a thread about it in ''Online Help Support''. At the bottom of the subforum list.

The order of posts in threads is sometimes inconsistent.

To give an example here:

I need help | Alien Abductions and Extraterrestrial Entities - By user ''interesting''.
https://www.theblackvault.com/.....need-help/

See the post numbering next to a button with a link symbol, left of it.

Or here

the significance of a hug | General Discussion Topics
https://www.theblackvault.com/.....g/#p126844

What is this inconsistency? In the first thread it is some sort of embarrassing to me.

just to show you this is a reply to your first post, see how it is indented and the order of the post should say 3, as I did this after the reply below.

Look again at your examples.  The order of posts 1-5 is staggered in places because a new reply is placed at the bottom, while a reply to a specific reply will be indented. Note the order of the posts, and where replies to a reply are indented slightly under it.

Not really, when you reply to a long facebook topic, you end up at the bottom, when you are replying to a comment several comments above. This allows you to directly reply to a comment, and it is placed right under what you are replying to. People forget, message board formats are not the same as facebook, that scrolls into oblivion in 2 days. You can pick up on a message forum thread easily.

You had it too somehow? Now that it is explained I understand. You?

The forum format is less common. But also developers make it hard sometimes. E.g.: a webpage. I don't see why this monstrous probram is needed to make a real consistant webpage. Dreamweaver, apart from narrowing the ability to make something that looks respectable. I have some sort of banned this sort of thing. Which also could have led to me overlooking it.

I mean Wordpress, Facebook, others like wix webpage creator. Have you also tried and done some of those?

D**n, I only reply now.

Hm, nice so there is a philosophy to it? I didn't see it.

So it looks like I pressed the wrong button.

In another thread there was a message: last reply [user]. But I didn't see the post. This probably put me on a wrong track.

It was meant as a reply to this post

But it does not have an "edit" button. Is that correct? That some posts don't have an Edit button?
