My friend Ian and I have been discussing that question for months. We keep grappling with the meaning behind the visitations. A Morning Light is an empathetic film dealing with the phenomenon of alien abductions. We are fundraising to be able to do this film without any censoring or external pressure. Countering depictions of menacing beings and fear-based scenarios, A Morning Light will infer that extraterrestrial visitation stems from an ecological standpoint—nurturing the likelihood of benevolent curiosity. Verité, atmosphere and experimental form combine in a quiet, psychologically tense exploration that assumes humanity is in its intellectual and spiritual infancy.
