One powder was associated with the appearance of a ball of light (Technical Service Report: UT009) and three others were found in different crop formations (Technical Service Report: UT055). Another white powder was recently procured from a crop formation which occurred on October 5, 2009 in Hoeven, Holland. A photograph of the powder as found in the formation is above.<\/p>\n<p>Following is a diagram of the formation. The white powder was found in the large circle as indicated by the arrow.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theblackvault.com\/casefiles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/2017-01-03_16-32-02.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2908\" src=\"https:\/\/www.theblackvault.com\/casefiles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/2017-01-03_16-32-02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"615\" height=\"840\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.theblackvault.com\/casefiles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/2017-01-03_16-32-02.jpg 615w, https:\/\/www.theblackvault.com\/casefiles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/2017-01-03_16-32-02-220x300.jpg 220w, https:\/\/www.theblackvault.com\/casefiles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/2017-01-03_16-32-02-150x205.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.theblackvault.com\/casefiles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/2017-01-03_16-32-02-450x615.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.theblackvault.com\/casefiles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/2017-01-03_16-32-02-600x820.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 615px) 100vw, 615px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The objective of this analysis is to identify this powder, and determine if it is the same as those previously encountered.<\/p>\n<h3>Conclusions<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The white powder is a hydrated form of magnesium carbonate, with an approximate formula of (MgCO3)4\u2022Mg(OH)2\u20225H2O. No other components are detected by FT-IR.1 The detection limit for this test is about 0.5% depending on the sample.<\/li>\n<li>The powder is the same as encountered in previous Holland events.<\/li>\n<li>No evidence for radiation above background, or UV fluorescing material is detected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>The Original Analysis<\/h3>\n<p>(addendum below)<\/p>\n<div
