SUBJECT: UFO Report<\/span><\/b><\/em> SUMMARY<\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n Today I spoke with a witness from Trotwood,Ohio (a suburb of\u00a0 Dayton). Mrs. R. (name on file) related to me her close encounter with a UFO on the evening of October 25th around 10:40PM.<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n Mrs. R. was taking her granddaughter,age 3, home.\u00a0 She had been baby sitting that day.\u00a0 Her daughter lives in a semi-rural area with only an occasional lamp post on the roads.As Mrs. R. approached a 4 way stop which was Union Rd. and Little Richmond Rd., she spotted what looked to be a “glowing red S” just above tree top level.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n The elongated “letter S” was on its side as opposed to be standing up. She likened the light of the S to the glow of the coils in a toaster.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n As Mrs. R. came to the four way stop she then saw that the S seemed to be on the bottom of a stationary object.\u00a0She described the object as bell shape at the top and coming down to a hat brim shape.\u00a0 The object was about as long as a small CessMA plane and about as tall as a one story house.\u00a0 The object was black or dark gray in color.\u00a0 It hovered about 6-8 feet above the tree tops.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n Mrs. R. goes on to state that around the bottom of the object there were small round white\/bluish lights that held steady. The object made no sound.\u00a0 At this point Mrs. R, says she was very frightened fearing for her granddaughter who sat beside her in the car.<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n Mrs. R says she became so frightened that she did not know to speed off or stay to watch the object longer.\u00a0She said that another vehicle was present at the 4-way stop, remembering that she saw a pair of headlights.\u00a0 She does not remember what the vehicle did as she concentrated only on the object.\u00a0 She said that she watched the object for a little over a minute.\u00a0 Suddenly the object shot straight up and veered off to her right and was gone at a tremendous rate of speed.<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n At this point Mrs. R. states she also sped off to her daughters house saying, ” Oh dear God” “What did I just see?”\u00a0 “Was that a UFO?”<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n Mrs. R. went on to explain that she has no interest in the subject of UFOs.\u00a0 She had seen pictures of them on TV.<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n Mrs. R. says that she experienced no trouble with her car during the sighting.<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n She spotted no other aircraft in the area at the time of her sighting.\u00a0 She called her mother and told her of her experiences.\u00a0 She has also spoken of the event to her coworkers.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n Weather conditions for that night were clear with calm winds and warm temps.<\/span><\/b><\/u><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n INVESTIGATION<\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n I contacted the Trotwood Police Dept. at 937-837-7777.\u00a0 They reported that no calls had been placed to the station on the date in question of a possible UFO sighting.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n COMMENT<\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n I find Mrs. R. to be a credible witness and truthful in her remarks.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n The report was originally submitted to Peter Davenport of The National UFO Reporting Center , and he had also talked with the witness and said “she sounded to be a rather good witness.”\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n This report is still under investigation.\u00a0If any new details come out about this case they will be posted at a future date.<\/span><\/b><\/em> Additional notes:<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n I spoke with Mrs. R’s mother after our conversation. She confirmed to me that her daughter did indeed call herfrom her cell phone on the way home.
