Giant UFO Caught By Space Station NASA Cam Hovering Over Earth,
\nUFO Researcher Claims In New Video<\/h4>\n

A giant UFO was sighted hovering high above Earth \u2014 but within the planet\u2019s atmosphere \u2014 by a NASA camera positioned on the International Space Station, according to a prominent online UFO researcher, who revealed his latest purported discovery in a new video posted Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The UFO \u2014 if indeed it is an unidentified object and not simply a mistakenly identified object \u2014 is seen in the video apparently floating above a thick layer of cloud cover, but separated from any nearby clouds. In the video, Scott C. Waring of the popular UFO blog UFO Sightings Daily, says that the separation is what leads him to believe that the object is large \u201ccigar shaped\u201d craft of some kind.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf all the clouds, this object is floating above the clouds,\u201d Waring says in his narration to the new video, which can be viewed on this page, above. \u201cIt\u2019s even higher than the clouds, and it\u2019s huge. Look at the size of that!\u201d<\/p>\n

Indeed, the object would appear to be massive to show up as prominently as it does in a photo taken from the Space Station, which orbits about 250 miles above the planet\u2019s surface.<\/p>\n

Here is a close-up view of the UFO, provided by Waring.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Clouds typically float at a maximum altitude of around 20,000 feet, or a little less than four miles above sea level. The object in the NASA feed image appears to have some degree of distance between the top cloud layer and its own position.<\/p>\n

But even a mile or two of distance would place it in the lower section of the Earth\u2019s atmosphere, given that the thickest section of the atmosphere, where about 80 percent of the atmosphere\u2019s density is concentrated, extends about 10 miles up.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere itself continues to thin out rapidly as it reaches upward by some estimates as much as 300 miles. But the alleged UFO in Waring\u2019s video, given its massive size, would have been clearly visible from Earth, the same way that a commercial airliner flying between six and seven miles high can be easily seen with the naked eye.<\/p>\n

Whether Waring\u2019s sighting on the NASA space station feed coincided with any reports of a UFO sighting from points around the world, he does not say.<\/p>\n

The live NASA Earth feed from the space station camera can be viewed at this link, for those who wish to hunt for UFOs on their own.
