Background/Objective
Identify two samples of red-brown particles retrieved from the testicles and chest area of an excised bull. The bull was found on the Barton Ranch on 1-17-97, around 24 hours after the excision happened. A compass was reported to give a 20 deviation when held over the excisions.

Phyllis Budinger's Post Analysis Notes
I had tiny quantities (sub milligram) of samples to work with in this analysis. I feel the “jury is still out” regarding the source of hemoglobin (a component of blood) found on this mutilated bull. Others have expounded that this find shows evidence that unknown entities are processing/separating the blood. Perhaps I should not have used the word “processing” in the report. But this also refers to natural processes. I do not have a background in the biological sciences. Yet, I have questions. Was there some sort of capillary separation of the blood on the dead animal? Could there be natural processes such as bacterial attack on the blood, leaving the hemoglobin?
