Orbs

Orbs are spherical objects sometimes appearing on digital camera still shots. There is absolutely no conclusive evidence to prove or disprove "orbs" as anything at all. This has led to numerous claims of orb explanation: ghosts, insects, multi-dimensional beings, parallel universe beings, dust, aliens, plasma spheres, lightning balls, camera defects, thinking beings that only show up on camera when they want to, and many other explanations.

It is not hard to capture an orb on film. Simply use a digital camera and take a few pictures indoors or out, and you'll see something that looks like the picture here.

These orbs are most commonly in a white color. But others are red, blue, yellow, green, and many other colors. The more mega pixels a camera has, the clearer the shot you will have.

Many people assert that orbs are living beings that are even capable of having facial expression such as smiles.

To rational/realistic minded observers there are many explanations. Scientists have even proposed normal energy/magnetic/chemical bubbles seeping from the earth as an explanation. But no formal investigation has been conducted by the scientific community.

A good question to ask: Why are orbs only capable of being captured on digital cameras? Also, if you capture an orb on film, go ahead and call your camera's customer support center and ask them why these annoying images keep popping up and ruining your pictures! See what they say.

The lack of any consensus even among the paranormal community on what orbs are, has led to outright dismissal of this as anything more than dust, insect, camera anomalies, by skeptics.
