Witness Testimonial

I would like to report a pretty fascinating sighting here in Heartland, TX in Kaufman County. Just this past Saturday, March 22, around 9:00 PM. Just as we came around the bend on FM 741, my friend exclaimed “Look, a shooting star… make a wish!” I was driving so I couldn't look off to the right, but the object came from my right and was straight in front of my view once around the bend. It was very bright and low in the sky. I got a very good look and knew right off that it was not a star. It was moving pretty fast like a shooting star, but it was going straight horizontal coming from the west heading east. I immediately screamed, "That’s not a star… because you could see lights."

I saw a bright green tinged-white light coming from 2 panels. I could see that the lights were separate windows and it was bright. It moved so quick it just shot off and disappeared. My friend said she saw three lights from her angle when it came from the right. I had to tell her that stars are a ball of fire and do not have light windows.

It was not a jet because of the shape and there was no sound. A pickup truck was at the stop sign when this happened, and I believed he saw it too because he just backed up and was staring in the same direction. I went to work Monday and was telling my coworkers what I saw, and one of them said she was sitting out Saturday evening and she saw an odd shooting star. She said it moved fast like a star, but wasn't bright enough and looked odd. She lives near Ft. Worth. The object she saw was too far away to get a close up view, but it was moving fast from the west heading east in a horizontal direction. I believe it was the same object. From now on I will carry a camera with me. These oddities can just pop up any time of the day.
